Do a bakery! Bake homemade cookies, cakes, pies, or anything that is easy enough for you to make. The best part is people will pay extra money for homemade!
You can ask around at car washes, book stores, bagels or bakery shops near by how young they hire, though I doupt you'd have much luck. You can also teach young children (like the ones you baby-sit) if they need tutoring, like teaching how to read or write or help with their math. You can make a lot of money doing that!
There is also dog-walking and pet-sitting. I charge $15 a dog for walking one hour and make up to several hundred dollars a week by pet-sitting. |

baby sit, dog sit, offer to walk dogs, garage sale, mow lawns, sell lemonade, clean houses, clean garages, pull weeds, ebay, a dishwasher at a restaurant(some do hire), paper route, wash inside and clean outside of cars, some fast food places hire, make crafts and sell them house to house.
There are many opportunities, just find something you like to do and go from there. Im 14 and I started trying to make money a few months ago. I like to excercise, so I decided to mow lawns for neighbors(its not neccessarily something that I liKe to do though) But I do like to sell things, and I often do garage sales. Just find something you like and work hard at it, if you work hard you will do well BTW i just made 220 dollars at a garage sale with my brother, and I now have around 1,500 dollars. Good Luck! |

Get a worker's permit, and look around for jobs or just go in to some and show your permit with your parent, it's worth a try you know? Or apply for an internship |

With your parents permission, you should sell stuff on Amazon, or Ebay! You can make decent money with either one of these sites. Before you ask "What do I sell?", just remember that anything of value can be sold on either of these. So, old records, tapes, cds, dvds, books, clothing, jewelry, toys, or just about anything you can think of that's lying around the house, can be sold. Once you run out of your own things to sell that you no longer want, you can buy similar used items (with your profits of course) from classified ads on craigslist, or from newspapers, or even flea markets and pawnshops! I make an extra $800 - $1,000 each and every month doing exactly this! You can make good money and you'll learn quickly what sells and more importantly, how to negotiate with other people so that you can make decent profits ( a great skill to have in this day and age). Why just last week I bought a well cared for, used copy of Tim Burton's "Nightmare Before Christmas" on DVD for only $2 cash at the local pawn shop. I just sold this same DVD on Amazon this morning for $20! Why? Because I know that it is fairly rare and out of print. Use Amazon as a guide to the true value of these things. If others can sell a DVD for $20, and you find a used copy for $2, it's a "no-brainer" what you should do. Most people don't know the true value of thier used stuff. You can use this to your advantage. Just remember to use your imagination, have fun with it, and good luck to you! |
