I suggest you start your own home based business instead of looking for a home "job". You will only be paid minimum wage. With three kids, that isn't a sufficient amount of income.
There are so many different home based business to start up. Things from Child Daycare Centers, cooking, scrapbooking, Telecommunications, fishing charters, Candle Making, Travel agents, Tax Preperations, Health etc etc etc. You can turn just about any type of business into a business that you run out of your home. Their are many different types of home based businesses. Most home based business cost under $500 to start.
When starting a business, their is no money at first. You have to build it up. No matter what business you get involved in. The more effort you put into it and how hard your willing to work it, will depend on when you start making a sufficient amount of income.
In a home based business, depending on which one you get involved in, it usually takes about 2 to 4 weeks to start making an average income. 4 to 6 weeks to increase that.
and 3 to 6 months to be self sufficient. If you put the time and effort into it.
Most people start their business on the side if they have full time jobs and run their business on the side. When their business reaches the income level they desire, they put their normal jobs down and continue with just their business.
I don't have much to go on with what your interests are. So I can only try and help you out by refering you over to a few different businesses to take a look at. I'll tell you what my husband and I have had and enjoy doing for over six years now. I can also refer you over to my blog on my 360 yahoo page on "home based businesses" There are over half a dozen different ones to take a look at for more ideas.
We got involved in the Telecommunications industry. We picked this one because the income opportunity is just incredible, and to me it's more practical. We partnered up with a 15 year old world wide company that offers services that people use every day and pay for anyway. They are registered with the BBB. They've also been featured in several magazines like USA Today, Success, Fortune etc. Inc 500 also rated us the 22nd fastest growing company in our first five years. We are world wide with headquarters in in Farmington Hills Michigan, Carolina, Canada, Europe, Australia. So it's a pretty good sized organization to be involved in. We offer services like Local and Long distance telephone services, Internet, digital, video, VOIP, Satallite TV, and all the major cellular phone providers like Verizon, T-mobile, Sprint, AT&T, Nextell, Alltel etc. as well.
How many people do you know, or know of around the world that uses one or more of these services? That's why we chose this business because everyone uses one or more. It's a service that people are not going to give up on because money is tightm their going to pay their utility bills then purchasing the top brand of soap when they can easily run to the dollar store and buy a package of 4 for a dollar instead of a bar for $2 sort of thing. You know what I mean? We save people money on services that they are already using and paying for, and offer them services that they don't have, but would like to. As an example, say they have a local and long distance telephone service, they want Internet, I offer them the internet, they accept and Every single month these people pay these bills that they are going to anyway every month, we make a percentage. You get paid every single month for these services over and over again. Once their on a service, everytime they pay their bills each month, you get a percentage off it. This is a very profitable business to get involved in. A lot of money involved in this industry,
If you'd like more information, your more then welcome to email me at anytime.

You neglect to mention anything about your education, background, experience, etc. Can you design websites, write software programs, or other technical expertise? Are you qualified as an accountant, bookkeeper, Dictaphone transcriptionist with medical terminology, graphic designer, editor, ...??? You have to consider your abilities and interests first because you are going to have sell yourself to start a home-based service biz.
For Avon, Mary Kay, Tupperware, Amway, etc. you need a great many contacts to really get started, which is why so many of those who do well start while working a full-time job until they can get referrals, etc. You also need to be able to make deliveries at times convenient to your customers. And you have a lot of competition -- from others carrying the same product line and from other brands. Do you have selling abilities that will put you in the forefront of the competition?
For any multi-level marketing, you need to build a "downline" - be able to convince a substantial number of people that this is a great way to make money although you have yet to make any yourself! Can you thoroughly research an "opportunity" to understand whether & how it works, then be a truly positive force? And can you keep it up for 6 months or more until you begin to see results?
Do you have a number of hours per day to devote to your biz, and can you answer a phone or respond to fax/email/etc quickly? Or are the little ones going to interrupt every phone call screaming 'mommy'? To work at home you must project a very competent and businesslike demeanor.
Without some idea as to your background, it really is impossible to suggest ways to put your abilities to work in a home-based biz.
And if you think surveys, crafts and other work-at-home schemes are legitimate moneymakers, have your head examined! Every day people ask the same dumb thing on YA. |

I believe this blog will help you in your endeavors. My video tutorials can help ease the process of entering into paid survey sites.
*the key is not to just sign up for one site and expect loads of riches, but to sign up for a few and have the smaller checks add up* |

1. WelI I actually take surveys for cash. And yes they do pay as long as you know the good ones. I have some free survey sites that are very reliable just check out my profile by clicking my name or email me for them. I only give sites that I've been paid by so you won't get scammed. They're all reliable and I've never had a problem with them. (I've been doing them for a year now) The best part is that anyone can do them and they're easy. You won't get rich but they definitely help with bills :)
2. Btw a lot of the ones above are spammers and I wouldn't trust them |

If you are willing to switch stores to use some safer household products (you'd be surprised at all the toxins in products on the market today) and can refer family, friends, etc. to switch stores, then this opportunity may be worth looking in to. It is not mlm, and it is not a get rich quick scheme. As with most/all home businesses, success depends on commitment. Check out these links:

You can make money online with absolutely NO signup fee on a number of different websites. All you have to do is take surveys, read e-mails, invite friends, and join other websites. Some even pay you to write articles on topics that you choose or simply for signing up!
I've put together a list of EVERY real money making website that I am a member of. I also list my current earnings each month and give you a link to their sites. I give you my word that every single one of these websites are legitimate.
I have made an extra $50-90 or more each month by using every website on that list. Obviously you're not going to get rich, but it sure does help out with extra spending money.
If you're interested, here's the website that holds the list: http://empress-emily.livejournal.com/
I usually have a lot of time on my hands after my son goes to bed, so I've spent a lot of it researching websites that claims to pay its users for doing surveys, reading e-mails, writing articles, referring friends, and things of the sort. I have ran into a lot of scams along the way, so that's why I've put together this list of all the REAL ones. |
