Depends on where you ship and how fast you want to ship.
Go to a shipping store that ships via both and compare their costs.
From personal experience I've had better results with Fed Ex if I'm shipping out of the US or overnight and better results from UPS if I'm shipping ground in the US.
Both are good, reliable companies. |

I think UPS is cheaper and faster. I know it's faster, but I haven't seen FedEX rates. I'd recommend UPS. 1-day shipping is 25$ only! |

FED-EX does not handle packages as well. The boxes I get from them are beat up most of the time. |

I think DHL is a better choice. They will ship anything and I never have a problem with getting my stuff on time. |

It depends....if you are wanting to ship something large (up to 150 lbs.) FedEx averages about $3 less than UPS but that is specifically fedEx ground.
Using FedEx express which is much faster than "Ground", UPS is cheaper (express air shipping) for us by about $2 and we get a 10% FedEx discount as employees.
As far as quality of service, I feel they are just about neck-in-neck.. |

UPS, they are cheaper and worldwide. FedEx is not that fast and I am not sure if they are worldwide. Forget DHL, they are the slowest and there aren't many stores around. |

we work with both ups and fedex in my company but I seem to like ups better more reliable and better customer service. Fedex is ok but they don't back date. |

UPS Fed EX and DHL tarriff rates are quite similar. You are best served to call up the sales reps and see who will cut you the best deal. DHL is hungary for business... so that would be my first call and then make UPS and Fed Ex beat it if they want the business. |

I ship hundreds of packages a year and believe it or not USPS Priority Mail is the cheapest, fastest way to go. They accept pkgs in size up to golf clubs, wakeboards, etc. UPS and FedEx I find to be overly expensive and slow unless you want to pay for "express" delivery. USPS PRiority is 2-3 days from anywhere in US. |

it depends upon where you are shipping to..
In order to get rates, go to the get an estimate portion of the web page, i assure you rates are available on there. |

Well my whole family works at UPS but at my old job we used both and with my personal experience I liked FedEX better it was easier and jus a lil bit cheaper. |

Weeellll....
My mom saw a FedEx truck on TV that crashed on the highway, and it's stuff was stroon all over the road! lol Usually, i think you UPS bigger stuff. We UPSed a package and it got there with our breakable items in tact, but it got there a week later than it was supposed to lol! It is pretty pricey, but so is FedEx! Make sure you insure it too! Good Luck! :-) |

FedEx is generally overnight delivery and very expensive. If you want a fair comparison then check out FedEx Ground. They do parcel delivery like UPS. |

I had something shipped via UPS. It was a $2000 piece of musical equipment. When it arrived, it was damaged beyond repair, so I took it to the UPS store and they said they'd refund my money within 6-8 weeks. That was early February. When I've tried to call them about it, they can't find me in their records, and act like it never happened. UPS is run by thieves, so I'd give FedEx a shot. |
