Is any1 out there an Avon rep?what do you think to it....I think(read on)?
the pay is cr*p
Its also really annoying when customers return products coz you loose out on commision
I find it annoying when ppl dont leave books out when I ask them to
I find it annoying that Avon say "do it in your own time"-how the hell can you you have to revolve it around when your customers are home to collect money...
(remind me again why I still do it?!!)

I have no idea why you do- i worked for them for a little while- the problem is with it you cannot build up enough of a client base- and you have to pay for stationery and books. Betterware is better- the commission is higher because you don't have to pay for your books etc., you get a large client base. I worked for Betterware for 9 years.

I'm an avon rep but im giving it up, the money is rubbish and i hate it when customers don't leave the books out too. I had a box missing from my last order and it took me over a week and a day off work to get it delivered. The only winners are avon!

Asan ex customer I cannot understand why people continue to be agents. They leave the catalogues and in the vast majority of cases nothing is ordered . The rep. collecting,if left out. dozens of catalogues and no orders must be most demoralising. The stuff is not all that good anyway. If it were to pack up tomorrow I don't think that many would miss it . Do you remember Tupperware ,what happened to them.. The only home sales that ladies seem to like is Anne Summers.

don't do it, jack it in.There are better jobs out there that will fit in with your life and pay better.

I've tried several work at home jobs myself. I lost so much time and money with Avon I got burned out for a couple of years. I don't know why you are doing it. Jennifer

I wouldn't do it if you feel this way. The only way to write a success story for yourself is if you love Avon and their products - there are plenty of other MLM companies out there what have better options for you and your clients.
Find a product you love, and know others will too. I think Avon is a fine company whose day was years ago.

I have never sold avon but I do sell Tupperware and I love it. Have done it for 4 years now. I work full time outside the home and do Tupperware on the side. I make very good money doing it. Maybe you should contact me if you are interested in switching over. Selling products takes time and effort the more you put into it the bigger the profit. It's all how you handle it.

There are other companies out there. If Avon is not your cup of tea, leave and seek better paying company.

Do you do it because you love the products or like selling those types of products? Do you make lots of money and are happy with the territory you have been given? I don't know much about Avon, but I have had friends who have sold it. They are now with another company. They loved to sell products that helps their clients. The company has a great profit margin, no territories and many great rewards. You collect the money when they place the order.
Would love to tell you more.
