here are some legitimate websites!!

• alpineaccess.com - virtual call center provider using home-based customer service agents

• arise.com - answer calls, e-mail and chat requests for global companies at home. Some users have reported a $13 background check fee, a $99 assessment test fee and other charges.

• convergysworkathome.com - be an independent contractor home agent providing customer care, human resources and billing services

• elance.com - links freelancers with employers in IT, graphic design, writing, engineering, translation, marketing, accounting and administrative and legal services

• intellicare.com - call center company that provides clinical and non-clinical telephone services to health plans, healthcare providers, and care managers nationwide

• liveops.com - virtual call center using remote and home-based agents. Requires $30 fee for background check

• msvas.com - this company has developed virtual assistant training programs for U.S. military spouses and U.S. Department of State Foreign Service spouses

• teamdoubleclick.com - be a virtual assistant

• wahm.com - an online magazine for work-at-home moms

• west.com - be an "at-home-agent," with duties including obtaining, entering and verifying customer information, answering questions, resolving issues, explaining sales features or offering additional products or services

• workingsolutions.com - be a home-based customer service agent

• workplacelikehome.com - an active discussion forum where you'll discover lots of job leads

One bit of advice before you take the leap into a work-at-home opportunity: Take an inventory of your talent, add a dash of creativity to your thinking and come up with a plan that suits you.

• If you sew well, do alterations for others.
• If you have a good grasp of a particular subject, tutors are always needed.
• Good with a computer? Consider teaching others how to use one. You might also want to do computer work for college and graduate students. Try putting up flyers around your area as well as the local colleges and universities.
• Create personal websites for friends and neighbors. Parents might want to purchase one from you as a gift for a child. It can used for photos and 'firsts' as the child is growing. This makes a great gift to the parents of a newborn!
• Are you handy with crafts? Costume jewelery making and selling can be aimed at school-aged girls or adults, and all well-priced gift items sell well especially before the holiday season.

The list can go on as long as you align your talents with services or products others need. Be imaginative and create a job! If you choose to go the standard work-at-home route, heed these warnings from the Federal Trade Commission and the Better Business Bureau.

Yes. I also know a lot of people who work from home as well. Working from home seems to be the way to go. I have high speed Internet and digital phone system (video phones where I can see the person I'm talking to live) as well as fax lines as well. These are things you need to have for a home based business. I work from home with my own home based business in the telecommunications industry.

I help others save money on their healthcare costs. It is not a job, it is my own business. i do a lot of my business online but, I do talk to people in persson also. I have been able to generate decent residual income from this, and there is no pressure selling, or anything like that. You make 30% commissions on signing up people who would like to save money on their dental, vision, prescription and physician costs. You can also signup other business owners, this month is a great month, because business owners can sign up for only $25 to get started, which make it a great opportunity to get started. As far as the actual discount plans for members, the plans start as low as $19.95 per month. you can email me if you have any questions, feel free. I'll be happy to help.

There are many online offers on Internet but most of them are scam! Before you join any work from home company, please check out http://leenk.org/link/scam-report You will find some articles and guidelines to help you determine if an opportunity is a scam or not.

There are a few legitimate data entry companies but are not hiring and have large waiting lists (1-2yrs). The majority of data entry jobs you seen online are scams. A real company will want you to have skills (fast typing, 10 key), may want you to know excel, and will usually ask that you have high speed internet. Once in a long while you may found one online on a job website but it is rare.

One option is to freelance and bid for data entry jobs. However, you are bidding along with many people and often other countries-so you may have to bid really low just to get a job and/or project.

Another option is to offer data entry services to businesses in your area. It can be done, I know people who have done this but it is not easy to do.

I've been doing some work with www.elance.com the past week, all the work is home based, data entry, transcription etc. The only thing is you're competing against people from countries where the hourly rate of pay is a lot lower, so not sure if it would be worth it for you.

Also have a look at the jobs listed here, most are applicable to us,canada, europe, its quite good, thats where I found the above link.

http://genuinedataentry.blogspot.com/

Its been updated today to include some Craft type jobs which can be done from home, mainly re-distribution, but it possible to make good money from it if you work hard.

So many online jobs are out there. In fact, to do any online job, you need not want to invest anything. Make sure, you dont pay anything to get jobs online. It is just that need to pick the one that suits you the best. I hope this helps you and I believe you will find the online job that you love the most. Thanks
