You don't have to tell them it came from a car boot and after all it's up to them if they want to buy it. |

well it all depends on condition, if you buy an item worth $5 lets say a shirt and its not faded or torned up i would sell it for $10 on Ebay |

That's the glory of eBay!
However, does that match your skill set? You need to have a good idea of what sells, and be good at marketing. I found that I am no good at writing up a sales pitch, so eBay didn't work for me.
Keep in mind that eBay seems to have a fee for everything. Even for listing something that didn't sell. So make sure that you have enough profit margin to cover that. |
