I started a shirt company. I sat down and asked my self what the popular trends are in today's society. I came up with brand names, skull designs, and political images. Is it illegal to take a versace logo from the internet and copy it to a shirt and sell it? |

Yes it is illegal to use someone else's logo. You will be making something that would be identifying another company in your logo. You are passing this off as a Versace t-shirt and it is a fake. There are federal laws that protect companies from this. |

Yes. The Versace logo is copyrighted. If you use a copyright without the permission of the owner you can be sued for copyright infringement.
Much worse, the police may suspect you're creating knock-off versace clothing, and depending on the jurisdiction its a significant fine. |

SHUT UP! Everyone does it, but they don't go about spreading it all over y.ans. asking if it is ok? You know it's not-thats why you asked. Say your shirt co. went global an you could charge 100 a piece-then someone came along and copied your designs on sale for 5-what would you do?
So, no you cant. But you have to get caught, first. |
