I think you can work on a Sunday. The UK is a free country. |

its all down to EU law now, but basically the working time directive allows someone to work a maximum of 13 days in a 14 day period, so they couldnt do every saturday and sunday.
obviously you would need them to opt out of the 48 hour maximum as well.
oh and for your information it is a maximum of 12 hours in a day. with breaks every 5 hours or less. |

No its not illegal. But I think you will have to keep an eye on the European Working Time Directive. Probably a better question to ask is "Is it right?".
If these people are there entirely of there own freewill (ie they're not being bullied or being made to feel obliged to do it) then I dont really see a problem.
