I get paid under the table (but there are 7 payroll employees here). I get no breaks, cannot leave office for 9 hrs a day. |

I don't think they are required to provide special drinking water as long as there is a sink. I think you may have given up any rights when you started working under the table. |

Do you have access to any kind of drinkable water at all? There is no law about this that I know of, but I think that the legally hired employees would have some basis to complain if they can't either to leave to get water or have it in the office.
If you're getting paid under the table though, it's tough to demand rights. I would just buy a bottle of water, and fill it at home and bring it with you. And I would also try to find another job....good luck. |

If you're paid under the table, you cannot complain about anything they choose to do....If the regular employees wish to complain, I guess they can. But no, they aren't required to provide water, anymore than they would be required to provide lunch every day. |

i dont think so, but it'd be a nice touch :)
no break and cant leave the office?! now i think thats a bit weird..you're meant to have at least an hours break!

No an employer is not required to provide drinking wat however I noticed that you said you don't breaks and I do believe that is illegal. I would call your local unemployment office as they will be able to clarify this information. |

Search online for the Dept of Labor Regulations. Yes there must be available facilities and allow breaks to use them You on the other hand not being on the books and not paying taxes are in danger of being arrested. So the more fuss you make you might be out of a job. |
