Paypal is not a scam. It is the most secure over the internet money site I know. I have used it for about 6 months now. |

Really .... provide a source. I'd love to see this 'research' that said that paypal was a scam. Link please?
For the record, no. Paypal is nothing more than an online place to hold your funds, collect payments, pay from if you don't have a credit card, etc. It's been used by millions of people for years with little to no problems. I use it often and have for more than 2 years and have never had an issue with them, short of amazing service. When someone managed to get into my paypal account and start sending out my money, paypal staff noticed immediately and froze my account, returning every cent the thief spent.
Verify rumors before spreading them ... just some advice. |

That’s the dumbest thing I have ever heard about PayPal in my life. I have been using them off and on for 4 years or more now for everything from sending and receiving money and everything in between. Here in about a month I am using Paypal again to receive payments from by website www.brocksfavoritethings.com. I haven’t had a bit of problem with them that I can remember off the top of my head. |

I've never had a problem with the 3+ years I've used PayPal.
Be wary of "phishing" scams, however. You may get an email supposedly from PayPal (or eBay or from your bank, etc.) asking you to log into your account to verify or update information. NEVER fall for that. The email will try to scare into complying by threatening that your account will be terminated if you do not log in within a certain amount of time.
A legitimate company will never ask you to do this. The best way to know for sure if someone is trying to "phish" you is to move your cursor over the link in the email. 99.9 % of the time it's a link outside of where it claims it's from. The idea is you to fall for it and reveal your ID and password to clean out your account. |

I've been using PayPal successfully for 2 years now, and I love it. I think that it is possible to be scammed using a variety of online payment methods, but it isn't a problem just with PayPal. You have to be wise and careful when using/doing anything on the net. |

No, it is a safe way to send money and pay for bits and pieces from Ebay. Mind you, sometimes the fees can be high, but a scam? no. I use it and am happy with it |

Paypal is good and secure, as long as you don't get fraudulent orders. Even if somebody sends payment to you from a hacked paypal account or a hacked credit card, paypal might freeze your account (not always, but some times). Not only this if there are too many complains against your account, then too it might get freezed and you might end up having freezed funds for 6 months
So if you use it carefully it's good and very secure.

I've never had problems, but I too have come across the horror-stories that abound on the internet. There are whole websites dedicated to people venting about getting ripped off by Paypal. Just be careful with the info you give out and you should be okay. |
