Yes, there are work from home things to do that are not scams. There are two ways that you can work from home. One is apply for a position from a company that offers home based work. There are a few out there. The second would be to start a home based business Now, there are two different ways right there to work from home. Each way I stated has different income ranges. I don't know how much income you need, so let me break it down between the two. Now, a home based job the income is about minimum wage. After taxes are taken out, your looking at take home being less then minimum wage. Now, a home based business gives you the same income opportunity as a traditional business without all the over head expenses. They cost less to start up. In fact, most home based businesses cost under $500. But the income opportunity for yourself is far greater then a home based job, but they do take a little bit of time to build.
If a home based job is sufficient amount of income for you, then there area couple options. Here's an article that talks about home based jobs, with a couple companies that you can look into. If you qualify for the position then apply for that position.

If you think that you will need to be making more then a minimum waged job, then here's another article on home based businesses with several different industries to take a look at

"If a company requires initial payment from you in order to work for them, they are not legitimate."
There are a few legitimate data entry companies but are not hiring and have large waiting lists (1-2yrs). The majority of data entry jobs you seen online are scams. A real company will want you to have skills inc fast typing, may want you to know MS Excel, and will usually ask that you have high speed internet. Once in a long while you may found one online on a job website but thats rare.
If you do an advanced search on yahoo, you will find previous answers, sometimes the info on these is good as the info they gave is likely to have been verified if the answer was voted as 'Best'.

has some good information on how to search recruitment websites for work at home positions. |

Hello,
The information you are about to learn will give you a new perspective on which industry you should be in when starting your own home based business.
Did you know that it took the U.S. economy 215 years to produce the first 3.6 million millionaires? That was up until 1991. Then, in just the next 10 years, the number of millionaires doubled!
So what does this have to do with the Wellness Industry or more specifically, what does this have to do with you?
Well, according to economist Paul Zane Pilzer, in his book The Wellness Revolution, he predicts that by 2016 there will be 20 millionaire households and since each household represents 2.5 people that means that there will be a staggering 50 million Americans living in a household with a net worth of $1 million or more.
Considering there is just over 300 million people living in the U.S. today that should shock you!
He goes on to say that the greatest opportunity entrepreneurs have to become the next millionaire is in the Wellness Industry. From the year 2002 to 2007 the Wellness Industry went from $200 billion to $500 billion. It is on track to be a trillion dollar industry by 2012.
Now, just in case you didn't know, there are not too many trillion dollar industries. The Food Industry and the Medical Industry are two of the biggest trillion dollar industries.
I don't think I need to explain how BIG a trillion dollar industry is and how much wealth is spread around when an industry advances towards becoming the next trillion dollar industry.
So I'm sure you're wondering what force is propelling the Wellness Industry to becoming a trillion dollar industry. This might surprise you. Individual wellness entrepreneurs are the force behind this massive industry! Small business owners are reaping HUGE rewards by distributing wellness products and services to the world!
Maybe being a millionaire seems too far fetched for you? Well, what about being in an industry as a home based business owner that gives you an opportunity to earn enough to retire on?
The product has great mass appeal because of the great quest for healthier whole foods instead of depending on drugs and vitamin supplementation. Zrii has a very lucrative compensation plan that places profit in your pocket fast. When distributors get rewarded quickly the more motivated they are to promote the product.
We have a marketing system in place that cost us a significant amount of time to put together so that even if you've failed at network marketing before you'll succeed with this one. Nothing is left to guess work. You'll be pleasantly surprised at how easy this is.
Give it some thought, and give me a call anytime. Thank you for your time.
In the heart of the Wellness Boom,
Agatha Houts |

The work from home jobs that aren't scams actually require work on your part - and if you're in need of money soon then you're likely to be sorely disappointed in any of those as well. Most of the legit opportunities out there take time to build - so if someone makes an outrageous claim of income it probably isn't true ( and those that are true sure didn't make that kind of money when they first began ).
Time & effort required - but do your own research on what is best for you, don't take the advice of myself and others as gospel from this type of public website.
I have other ideas that may help - one of them is an online opportunity but another is one that will require a little effort to market yourself - try some data entry for local businesses, many of them don't have the time to do it in-house and will gladly pay someone else to do it. Professionals are a good place to start, lawyers, doctors, chiropractors, etc - they need their "in-house" folks doing other things rather than busy work. |

I'd check out each and every home job first at www.homebusinessscamdetector.org . They're an independent organization and research each job and tell you whether it's legit or a scam and it's potential for profit. Good luck!! |

Yes there are. I like one of the answers you received that said there are a lot of legit companies but it will take effort on your part to make it work. I think a lot of people get into the businesses because they are lazy, don't want to work and expect to get rich over night. hmmm... I don't think that is possible. So when it doesn't work out for them, which is their own fault, they yell "scam." There are great opportunities and completely legit ways to earn a great income from home but it does require effort on your part. Also do your research. get well informed before committing to anything. I have experience in this and would be happy to help. Email me anytime. :) By the way, who is your team? |

Most work at home schemes are scams. Before you consider any of them, check out what the Postal Inspection Service has to say about them… http://postalinspectors.uspis.gov/radDocs/consumer/wahscams.htm |

There are little things such as filling in surveys but of course this isn't a full time job. It can earn you a few bucks or gift cards and give you chances of winning some prizes but it's definitely not a 9 to 5 kind of job.
www.globaltestmarket.com
www.i-say.com
www.webperspectives.ca
These three I can vouch for; i've been a member for a while and they aren't scams. They don't cost anything to sign up and they actually pay at the end of the line.
Hope it helps |
