There are a lot of different people out there who have their own home based business and make an incredible amount of income. With the amount you want to make, it would be pretty simple to accomplish in just about any home based business.
The income opportunity is incredible in home based business. You just need to find one that you'd enjoy getting involved in. Most home based business cost under $500. Some cost more depending on what it is you want to do.
I don't know what you like to do, so I can only tell you what my husband and I started over six years ago and point you out to some others to take a look at. From there you can go over the different ones and get involved in one that you like best.
Ours well supports our family of six. We have four children ages 10, 6, 3 and 1. It is also becoming a major funding source for non-profit organizations.
What we chose is in the telecommunications industry with a world wide company that's over 15 years old. They've been featured in several magazines Inc 500 rated us the 22nd fastest growing company. They offer services that people use every day and pay for anyway, but now they can have a lower cost. Services such as local and long distance phones, Internet, digital phones, video phones (you can see the person your taking to live)VOIP, Satellite TV, and all the major cellular phone companies like Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Alltell, Nextell etc. have partnered up with them too.
How many people do you know, or know of, that uses one or more of these services? How would you feel if you could save people money on services that they're already using? Yes it is possible! It's great that you have a dream and the determination to make life better for you and your kids. I agree with the others who posted make sure you thoroughly research any opportunity you are thinking about, unfortunately there are scams out there (been there done that! LOL).
Before you jump into something make sure you know what you want out of a home based business. Do you want to own it? or would you rather be a representative or consultant for the company (this is how most MLM's work)? How much time do you want to put in to a HBB? Is the product or service something you would use? How long has the company been around? Is there an easy to follow system in place? Will you have a personal mentor to train you? Etc.
Sorry, it is a long list but I am so glad I took all of that into consideration before starting a HBB myself. The biggest factor for me was finding a business that I knew had integrity and I could be proud to stand behind 100%. The business I found definitely filled that requirement. Many of the other business owners in the organization are stay at home moms like you and only work part time. Cadie in Minnosotta works only 2 hours a day and averages $7,000 a month. Renea, has 5 children and makes over $100,000 a year. My personal mentor Stephanie in Georgia has been with this business for over 14 years, she is one of only four people on the board of directors she and currently makes about $300,000 a year.
