Is there any legit work from home opprotunities out there for me??

I recently became disabled and looking for ways to increase my income. I have access to computer throughout the day and would love to try and make some money with it. Is it possible to make close to 100 dollars a week part-time or more? I will even stuff envelopes but I heard they were a scam too... Please help!

Well I can sympathize with being disabled. I have been disabled for five years. I've had quite a few different surgeries with one more remaining. So I know how frusterating this can be. There are plenty of working from home opportunities out there. You just have to find one that interests you the most. I would lean away from "home jobs" because they only pay minimum wage. Which isn't a sufficient amount of income to make. Especially if you have children.
I found the best way to make a sufficient amount of income working from your home is to have a home based business. There are plenty of different industries to look into with a variety of different companies that you can collaborate with and run a simple business out of your home. That's what my wife and I did over six years ago when I started having physical problems. My wife was also on bed rest in her fourth month due to pregnancy complications. So, for us minimum waged jobs were not going to cut it with one child and another on the way and bills to pay etc.
In home based businesses you have the same income opportunity as a traditional business has, with less over head expenses to pay for each month as well as the cost to start up is less. Most everything in your house, is part of your business, which becomes tax write offs. Your telephone, computer, heating, electricity, car etc. Less over head, less bills to pay out then a traditional business which means MORE profit. Home based businesses are also a lot less expensive to start up. Most are under $500. Which takes care of the main company doing all your accounting, billing to your customers, employees, customer service, licensing, workman's comp, cross referencing, Inventory, drop shipping etc.
With the business experiences that I have had, the best type of home based business to have, I feel like I said is to collaborating with another business. In doing this, it lessens the stress factor (headaches) that a traditional business has, yet you have the same income opportunity, less bills to pay out. There are a lot of different opportunities out there, that can make you a sufficient amount of money.

Sorry to hear of your plight, I spent over 4 years being disabled and I remember all too well how difficult that was....my biggest wish for you is that there is no pain.

Are in a position that you can start up your own on-line business? There's many out there that than be up and running for a minimal cost and being able to run something from home that can grow for you might be your best option. I chose something that should I ever have a Lyme relapse and end up back in a wheelchair, I can still do (it's in my profile) providing that my 4 brain cells stay with me.

If you're on a disability pension, you might want to check out what they will allow or not allow before doing something like this or taking an on-line "job" .... if you can find one that's legit.

I heard that there are many companies that give you money for completing surveys.

Yes I would avoid stuffing envelopes jobs which you see advertised, I've never found one which was real.

The ones that aren't scams actually require work on your part - and if you're in need of money soon then you're likely to be sorely disappointed in any of those as well. Most of the legit opportunities out there take time to build - so if someone makes an outrageous claim of income it probably isn't true ( and those that are true sure didn't make that kind of money when they first began ).

I have other ideas that may help - one of them is an online opportunity but another is one that will require a little effort to market yourself - try some data entry for local businesses, many of them don't have the time to do it in-house and will gladly pay someone else to do it. Professionals are a good place to start, lawyers, doctors, chiropractors, etc - they need their "in-house" folks doing other things rather than busy work.
