I would take advantage of free resources on the Internet, like CraigsList. You can also go the old-fashioned way and post flyers. Most of all, though, I would ask clients to recommend you to friends. |

Your best source for free advertising is word of mouth... your mouth and your satisfied customer's mouths. Take pride and passion in your products and services. Might I suggest a business license to DBA a business name of your own? This will allow you to take tax deductions for various expenses that you would normally pay out of pocket and allow you to reduce your taxable amounts. If you get a website, you can write off the costs for hosting, internet service, computer depreciation, and more. You can write off business meetings and education/workshops. You can take deductions for home improvements if you entertain clients, etc. I am not a tax professional but a qualified accountant and/or attorney fees are deductible. Pay attention to what the IRS calls a legitimate business. You can take losses for 2 years as long as you are attempting to make profits from your business endeavors. With this you can now think differently of what FREE advertising is. Check out your library for the book, "Marketing without Money" by Nicholas E Bade. You'll find lots of great ways to increase your business and reduce your expenses. Make up flyers and pass out business cards. Get your family, friends and customers to create BUZZ for you and your product line. Keep educated about business. Put passion into your products of fashion!!! |

I don't know if you have a www craigslist.org in your area, but it is free to post anything and they are all over it is like a classified section in the newspaper but don't have to pay good luck hope this helps you. |
