If looking for a JOB, what are your marketable skills and previous experiences? Build a list and use that to begin your search. General rule of thumb: Never pay for a job (businesses, on the other hand, usually involve some expenses). I recommend checking out the Telecommuting Moms folder here at WAHM.com for leads on home JOBS. I also have some resources for freelance work and telecommuting jobs on my Work From Home site. |

now read that question?
how many jobs do you know that you pay to work there? of course there all scams!! Get you a school bus driving job and drive the kids to school work about 3 hrs a day and be home w your kids most of the day..there is not many legal ways for fast cash so better just get you a job buckle down call creditors and explain and life goes on |

Unfortunately, they are hard to find. My company does it, but only after you've worked in the office for some time.
What you can do though, is start on ebay. Sell your old junk you don't need. Go to garage sales, and pick up cheap junk there and sell it on ebay also. I know a guy who made a fortune doing this.
Unfortunately, he also lost that fortune because he didn't pay his taxes, but oh well. |

Job-job, as in a regular paycheck of roughly the same amount each week/month? Not that I know of.
But you can freelance. Just like in an outside-the-home job, you need experience in a given field. Also just like in an outside-the-home job, you'll be up against other people who want the same one, so you'll need to do your homework, present yourself well and have something to offer.
Unlike an outside-the-home job, you can't actually "expect" money when you freelance. You might have some months where you get a lot of work, and then a month or two where you get virtually nothing.
I use Elance.com. I know people also look up projects on Craigslist.com.
Working "from" the home--real work, not a scam that will make you nothing and get you on a list that gets sold to God-knows-who (identity theft, anyone?** see below), can be very rewarding. (I love what I do; I'm a writer.) But make no mistake. It's the most continuously hard work you'll ever do. If you decide to do this, good luck and I hope things work out great for you! :) |

"If a company requires initial payment from you in order to work for them, they are not legitimate."
There are a few legitimate data entry companies but are not hiring and have large waiting lists (1-2yrs). The majority of data entry jobs you seen online are scams. A real company will want you to have skills inc fast typing, may want you to know MS Excel, and will usually ask that you have high speed internet. Once in a long while you may found one online on a job website but thats rare.
If you do an advanced search on yahoo, you will find previous answers, sometimes the info on these is good as the info they gave is likely to have been verified if the answer was voted as 'Best'. |

Here's a response from OldBuddy:

I'm sure they're not the only ones either, just the most popular. If you think about what they do it should be obvious to anyone who takes part in the rip off.
Oh I'm not saying they cheat the people who join, of course they wouldn't do that! The scam is perpetrated against the poor advertiser that is offering a nice bonus for people to try their product or service. These are honest businessmen and women who are just trying to make an honest buck and are willing to give in order to receive.
So along comes CC and TT to exploit them, just like Fagin in Oliver Twist (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oliver_Twist ). Instead of picking up street orphans to train as pickpockets, they find Internet Surfers and train them instead. They teach them to sign up for theses offers and just before they have to pay, cancel everything and bring the money back to CC and TT so you can keep a share.
Who do you think is making all the MONEY???? Just like Fagin, they have everyone scrambling to get a piece of the ill gotten gains.

YES and this is legit!!
I have one that does not cost money unless you don't have the right equipment like high speed internet and such. This was featured on the local news here in Phoenix so they checked it out and even talked to people who are doing it. I actually filled everything out and was accepted but then I got a new job. I think it pays around 10-11 an hour taking calls at home. Go to their web site and read up on it. There is some testing you will have to go through make sure you get it done in a timely manner if they select you or they will cut you from the program.

You are going to have a real hard time...all the jobs that do hire oversea or is locally. Try to see if there's a GSI company near you...or any big phone based industry, they sometimes let people work from there home. If you can sew, try finding the trends and sellign clothes on ebay. |
