Yes there are some genuine jobs but the work from home jobs that aren't scams actually require work on your part - and if you're in need of money soon then you're likely to be sorely disappointed in any of those as well. Most of the legit opportunities out there take time to build - so if someone makes an outrageous claim of income it probably isn't true ( and those that are true sure didn't make that kind of money when they first began ).

I have other ideas that may help - one of them is an online opportunity but another is one that will require a little effort to market yourself - try some data entry for local businesses, many of them don't have the time to do it in-house and will gladly pay someone else to do it. Professionals are a good place to start, lawyers, doctors, chiropractors, etc - they need their "in-house" folks doing other things rather than busy work.

Yes, there are many work at home jobs! I have really done my homework when it comes to work at home. I have 3 kids and simply cannot afford daycare to go out and get a job. I am currently working for Alpine Access, a company that hires customer service reps for other companies, basically. The pay is pretty reasonable, considering you dont have to spend money on fuel, work attire, etc. You can google Alpine Access if you want to check out their website. You're right about the get rich schemes, there is no such thing.
The on-line "jobs" usually want you to pay them to start working for them (like that makes sense) and quite often you get ripped off even further from there.
What might be best is looking into an on-line home based business that you can run completely from home, especially with fuel prices being what they are.
More and more people are looking to join the on-line work from home businesses where they can enjoy tax benefits, flexible hours and the freedom of being their own boss while earning a residual income.
Not only is it a lifestyle and source of financial freedom, people are enjoying the added benefit of being able to be around their family more than if they were out "at" a job.
If this is something that you're looking into, then start figuring out what the current market trend is, find something in that trend that excites you....something you'd really enjoy doing and start researching companies from there.
If a company appears to be legitimate, check out what they're offering you and if that fits what you want and if it does, then look even harder at that company. Find out what kind of training and ongoing support they'll offer you as well as that can make or break your success.
When you're satisfied that everything is above board, then go for it! The trend is swinging very quickly to on-line home based businesses and it can be very lucrative as well as rewarding.

You can try this. They don’t ask for a credit card or any money, like the scam sites. You won’t get rich though. It’s about $100 per week. They pay by Paypal and check. I have posted pictures of Paypal payments I have received, as proof.

There are real jobs out there, you just got to know where to look. To start getting educated about work at home jobs you need to visit http://www.wahm.com message boards and read, read, read. There is tons of information there that will help you avoid scams. Next, go to http://www.workathomedesk.com which is a free site that has a directory of legitimate companies that hire home workers. Depending on your skills and experience, you should find some good leads there.

Yes there are but you must be careful when choosing one. Do be sure to research them on scambusters, the BBB website, and do a google search under the company name and see what the people are saying in those posts. Be wary of any job that asks you to pay money upfront. Why should you have to pay them for a position. There are some out there depending on what it is you want to do from home. If you don't mind being on the telephone all day and have a quiet workplace LiveOps is a good one. |

I went through the same search. It can get real frustrating. I spent a ton of time researching home businesses/jobs. There is so much junk and scams out there, I wanted to rip my hair out! :) And if it wasn't a scam it was a waste of time. But there are real opportunities out there. It just can be hard to find.
