You could try Tazbar QXL or Ebid. They are much cheaper but only have a tiny fraction of the bidders / members.
You could look at ways of reducing your listing fees. If you sell items for £10, try listing them for £9.95 as this will reduce the listing fee.
If you insert lots of pictures, try using a photo editing program to chop 2 or more different pic's together so you only have to insert one (free) pic.
Also, try opening an eBay shop, list all your items there and just do a few auction listings with loads of links to your shop so people are directed there. (shop listings are very cheap)
The only other thing I can think of is not to bother with buy it now options in your auction listings, just direct buyers to your shop. This will save another 15p or so depending on overall price.
