I love the name! It pokes gentle fun at yourself and your smaller bar. Plus, it's easy to say, "let's go to Wannabe's" rolls off the tongue. For decorating; how bout some "famous" also rans? Some Avis signs, a pic of Bob Dole, a travel poster to Rome, Georgia, for your grand opening, hire an Elvis impersonator, stuff like that. Best of luck, keep having fun with it! |

OMG - I think it's AWESOME! AND...keep the slang of saying, "We want to be big but we little." Don't make it grammatically correct. DUH! "Wannabe" is slang and the whole point is for the humor of it! Obviously, you don't want people at your bar who can't handle it (like some of the people above me). Your intentions are to attract people with a sense of humor. Therefore, the decor should be humorous as well. You should play the song, "Wannabe" by the Spice Girls and have pictures of people with fake breasts and stuff like that. GO FOR IT! |

sure. that's cute. make "we want to be big but WE'RE little" your slogan. put it on tshirts, baseball hats, beermugs, babies onesies. decorate with tiny things. pictures and photos of small things and small places. have contests for your patrons to come up with ideas, such as...smallest fish caught and mounted for display. crazy things like that!

sorry, but I don't really think it works. try a more confident name, saying you wanna be like the other bars just shows ur a worse version of them, so why would n e one come to ur place and not just go to the bar u wanna be like. Try somethign that makes you unique and original compared to the other bars, that will set you aside |

I think it's a cool idea, but if theyre are alot of bigger or better bars on the same strip, wouldn't you want to do soemthing to make your smaller bar more attractive than the bigger bars.
To me, it sounds liek your name is giving me all the reasons to go to another bar. I think you should come up with something that will make people WANT to come to your smaller bar. |

try "Hole in the Wall" LOL I've seen it for small bars as a name before and it works well since you're so little BUT push the FRIENDLY bar environment. Come on down to the Hole IN the Wall for a cold brew and friendly atmosphere. Small town atmosphere. 'We might be TINY but we have a BIG attitude/ heart" LOL Good Luck |
