But having your children with you can be hard as well. It takes patience, planning and good time-management skills to have a productive day.
Tax breaks are helpful to most work -at-home moms. If you use part of your home regularly and exclusively as an office, you may be entitled to deduct a portion of your mortgage, rent and/or utilities. You also may have other business expenses such as supplies, mileage, advertising and equipment to write off.
Although it is not recommended that you work in your pajamas, it is reasonable to say that most work-at-home moms will not have to wear business suits either. As a result, your wardrobe costs should go down if you do not have to meet often with customers or clients in a professional business setting.

There's advantages and disadvantages In general, you need to be well disciplined and if there's other people in your household, to have them respect what you do. That means making sure they don't come in and interrupt you as they please just because you're at home. You need to put up a virtual wall to ensure you don't get caught up in household chores in the middle of your 'work' time; all too often that ends up totally screwing work-at-home people up. If you live alone then this issue becomes less relevant but if you have a family, this can be a big, big, issue. |

I've been working from home for over a year now and there are advantages and disadvantages. Advantages: no commuting, choose my own hours, get to stay home with the pets and/or children, being the boss, flexibility. Disadvantages: can get lonely, can be difficult to switch off from work as the home is the workplace.
Not everyone is suited to working from home. It really depends on what is right for you, and you'll never know unless you give it a try!

Working from home is certainly a good idea, however, it depends on kind of work as well as restrict the emplyoee from interating with each other. Office enviroment is must to accomplish the routine tasks. I think, its useful only when u r not well and is required to stay at home. I've seen guys who pretends to be working from home, they actually keep them online and do their personal work. |
