too dangerous every few months I get one from Nigeria say that someone has died and I have been chosen to get the money out I once gave my Building Society details and guess what nothing was touched and nothing went in one tip set up an account and leave in £1 That's the minimum or your account could be closed then on the next scam send the details I guarantee you won't get the same problems again |

Scam merchants are ridiculously dangerous.
20/20 has recently done a special on such scam artists and these turned out to be highly organized and well informed in what it was their objective was in order to get someone to give up capital for their cause. |

They are as dangerous as you allow them to be. If you just delete them they are not dangerous at all - if you reply to them then you could be in big trouble. Not only are they scams, as your rightly say, they are also potentially harmful because a lot of them contain worms or trojans, so they can either go right the way through your address book or worse, collect all of your personal information off your computer - scary if you use Internet banking! |
