Legit Home based business does it exitst?
Ok ive spent hours pouring over these so called legit home based business "deals" and all i get are people asking ME for money. It's almost as if that what these home based businesses are all about, get people to visit the site then ask them for money to be a "marketer" for some big well known business, but they never give you the name of said company. So I was just curious if there were LEGIT home based business that i could sign up with and actually make money without having to jump through a bunch of hoops to get to. So if anyone out there knows anything that would help i would greatly appreciate it, thanks.

First of all --- how old are you and where do you live?

The second --- are you savvy enough and educated in running your own business? Any business? If not are you coachable? Remember, our mind is like a parachute, it only works when open.

What you are describing from your experience is selling someone else product on variety of different commission structures. That is NOT your own Home Based Business. That is somebody else business, you just being another marketing tentacle for that particular company or a person who by introducing you into this structure is making money off of your marketing efforts.

Nothing wrong with that, however that is NOT your own HBB.

I can coach you in Home Based Business and its entire structure if you contact me at my gmail address listed in my profile, however be prepared to answer several questions. Your answers will determine if you are set, if at all to run your own business. Not everybody is capable, educated nor suitable to run their own business, home based or otherwise.

Based on analyzing your answers I can point you to the right direction making a suggestions for your very own Home Based Business that you will control, marketing strategy, website traffic, costs, etc. The decision then will be all yours.

P.S.
I do not want nor do I need any of your money.

I understand your frustration, those type of business practices tend to mislead many. What I will say that you can expect just about 98% of all home based businesses to require an investment, that much works the same when it comes to any type of business, including home-based. I don't know exactly the type of business you are looking to partner with, but I decided to partner with Ameriplan. They are a well-established, 100 million/year company that has and continues to move strides when it comes to the people who decide to partner with them. We market a service that most are in need of, an affordable way to cut health or dental care costs! I'm all about helping others, whether it be saving money on their healthcare or working from home with me. If you want more info, you can contact me via Yahoo Answers or go to this site, www.freedomathometeam.com/trhonda2000.

Good luck on your search,

Trhonda

The best way to have a home based business is to have your own. Don't waste your time searching the internet for some scheme that is a dime a dozen. If you have a passion or a special skill for something, even a hobby that you are mad about and good at, you can make an income from it.

Think about what you like to do in your spare time. What hobbies do you have? Do you have pets? Do you make things? Has anyone ever said "I couldn't do that" but you know how to do it?

You will be surprised at what you can come up with when you really think about it. Do people tell you that you are good at something?

My passion is travel. I love to travel. I have turned that passion into a home based business. I now have my own company. I work from home or anywhere in the world, with my laptop.

You can do the same. I have no formal technical computer skills, I have taught myself everything I know along the way.

To find out how easy it can be, visit my website and click on the link that says "powered by" at the bottom of any page.

If I can start my own business from home, anyone can!

The best feeling in the world it to not have to go out to work.
If your work is your passion, it is not work but fun and you will enjoy everyday.

Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

Here's a legit home based business that you can start yourself without having to pay amything or invest anything.

It's genuine but the downside is that it won't create instant wealth for you while you sleep - in other words the amount you make out of it depends on your effort & commitment.

Still interested?

Don't buy a program. You can find free information on how to start an internet business at http://www.firstinforeview.com they give you free information on how to get started. You can e-mail them with any questions you may have and they actually get back to you. They tell you where you can find products you can sell on your site with no upfront money. And they even tell you where you can start getting free advertising for your site. All this information is FREE.

You've received a lot of good comments and many links to various opportunities. I too will add mine. Just be careful. Let me share with you a little of my experience and add my two cents worth.

There are many businesses opportunities advertised on the internet, many of them legitimate, successful businesses, many of them not!

It takes diligence to weed out what's what.

Without intending to pin tickets on myself, I consider myself a reasonably well educated person with professional training and life experience behind me, but........

I have been 'taken for a ride' with a couple of opportunities offering much and providing little - or less - nothing. I lost money when I could least afford it and I became very angry.

Having said that, I was also desperate to improve my financial situation and being a 'suddenly single' mother of four who has health issues, I felt that home based business was the only way to go.

So, I started researching - DETERMINED NEVER TO BE SCAMMED AGAIN.

In short, here's what I've discovered:

For any business to be legitimate, it must offer either a product or a service. If it doesn't offer product or service then it is a scam and illegal.

Be aware of get rich quick schemes - there is no such thing. Any legitimate business takes work and effort on your part and requires building. It takes time to build the foundations of any venture - how much time is dependent on your own efforts and relatively speedy advancement is certainly achievable if you are prepared to put in the hours. (As the saying goes, if it sounds too good to be true then it probably is.)

Ensure the organization offers full support and training. It's easy to sign someone up for a business but it takes commitment and effort on the part of the enroller to train and support you in your efforts. Make sure you are not going to outlay your money and then be left with no communication or help.

And speaking of money - determine how much the business is going to cost you to get started and what that fee actually gets you. If it only gets you permission to view a certain website then I'd seriously think again.

It is reasonable to expect some start-up and on-going costs in a legitimate business - no such thing as a free lunch - but determine, not only how much is will cost you to start but more importantly, what your ongoing costs will be. A business may be low cost to start but then require an outlay of thousands of dollars each month to qualify you for your pay.

Don't be forced, convinced, badgered or 'talked into' committing to a cost which is above your budget, no matter what the apparent 'limited' offer may be. Many scammers offer you a reduced price but 'only for today' for instance. If a prospective business partner is not prepared to help you achieve success without causing you undue financial stress, then I'd be steering way clear. You know how much money you have to invest in your business, whether that me $50, $500, $1500 or more. Anyone offering you a business opportunity should be able to cater to your budget to a certain degree.

Ensure than any organisation you are looking at joining is listed with the Direct Selling Association. Direct Selling and Multi Level Marketing businesses are very legitimate and legal and are certainly not pyramid. Pyramid schemes are illegal. MLM and Direct Selling businesses are very, very profitable if conducted in the correct way. Check the company's Compensation Plan to see what benefits you are entitled to and how teams are structured. This is very important as some team structures result in a high attrition rate, which benefits no-one.

I am currently involved in my own very successful home business and whilst it is not my intention necessarily to promote my own business here, I encourage you to visit my website and also another link which I will post here - You will find further links on what to look for in a home based business.

If you are serious, and I only work with people who are committed, I would love you speak with you as I know first hand that our business is achievable with full of support and training (personal training too by the way - not just website links albeit we do use the web and email as a fantastic communication tool). Our business markets revolutionary and patented health and wellness products. There is no necessity to sell or stock product, to cold call or to pester your family and friends to get started. I operate my business purely online thus far but have other options open to me should I choose. Check out the links and decide for yourself if you would like to contact me further. The choice, as always, is yours.

Regardless of whether you choose to contact me or not, I hope this information has been helpful. I understand how daunting it can be starting something new especially when the internet can make opportunities appear so intangible. I wish you well in your search and in any venture you decide to undertake.

With Best Regards,
Denyse

The problem lies in where you are searching and not what you seek. If you continue to look in the same areas you will get the same results every time. I would look into building your own home based business and doing so around your interests. I use a great web host that helps the beginner or the pro alike.

The best way to start your own legit Home business online is with Affiliate Marketing. As an Affiliate Marketer you are your own boss. You don't have an upline or someone over you telling you what to do. You decide which companies(there are 10,000 + companies looking for individuals to market their products) and products you would like to promote. It doesn't cost you anything to become a Affiliate Marketer, but it's like anything else in life which requires skill, you need training to be successful. So you will have to spend money if you want training. Whether you spend a lot or a little money depends on where you get your training.

You can spend 1000's of dollars acquiring all the tools, software, training and support you will need to be successful or you can join a reputable Internet Membership Training Program. These are specially geared towards those with limited funds. You can spend 30 dollars per month at a membership program and get far better training and support than you would get if you spent 1000's of dollars acquiring everything you need from different websites. Hope this helps.

Unfortunately, unless you start one yourself or finally find one that is not asking for money up front (and generally you have to know someone for this), work at home is very rare. No one is going to ask money of you to work for them. It is indeed a tradgedy that so many get away with this. If anyone is in doubt, do a search for "grants" and see how many websites come up, and don't automatically trust them if .gov is at the end of their website. Scams abound online, and work at home is just another source of "bread and butter" for these people.

QuickAnswer
there are a lot of legit work at home on computer etc. but only few people are successful. To make money you have to spend some money but not always :) There are some sites like squidoo that will share profits with you and you do not need to do anything except find the hot market and promote sites. Basically affiliate marketing. It is great way to make money at home.

I am just starting a totally free blog about it and here is the link. It will explain to you what you need to do.

http://affiliate-niche-stores.com/

If you do not believe me just research affiliate marketing and you will see. however, this is a business not a job :)
