put an advert in your local newsagents. its quite cheap. be sure to mention how many hours you exspect and the amount you are willing to pay. remember the minimum wage is £5.00 an hour. |

Do what house painters and other small tradesmen do.
Print some notices, post card size, on your computer, or just write them and photocopy them and go round your area and put them through people's letter box. Your children can help you in this.
You can also put the same notices in local shop windows and launderettes.
Mention how much you charge, your name and telephone number.

Seriously I think YOU should RETHINK YOUR DECISION bec a home-based IRONING has a slim chance of survival in terms of cash flow and picking up enough customers and traffic to achieve a decent profit.
Why? Most people I believe feel comfortable going to a retail dry cleaners/laundry that they currently used bec they already have all the latest equipment and know-how.
If you decide to proceed with your idea, then you need to concentrate on MARKETING and getting word out about your fanstastic new startup business...
