Having a business rather it's a web based or not, in order to have it work, depends on how much effort you put into it. You can't just build a web site and sale products and expect it to generate income for you. You have to network it around and draw people to your site, rather it's advertisment or word of mouth and referals etc. Word of mouth I have found is the best solution to drawing people to it. You also need products that are in high demand and not easily accessible in stores on sale. For instanct Verizon, ATT&T, T-mobile, land lines, Internet, VOIP, video phones, television etc. You can sale these products and services through all these providers and everytime someone pays their bills, these companies give you a percentage of it. That's what my wife and I got involved in over six years ago. If you'd like an example (it could be any industry you chose, but as an example of a web business that does work look at www.tiffanyvague.acnrep.com ) There are so many different industries that you can get into and make your own web site and sale different products and services as well too. The choices and opportunities are incredible. Look at different industries. Just about any type will work. Like I said, it all depends on the amount of effort you put into it will determine rather it works or not. Chosing something that is in high demand is easier to make it a successful business. If you like the product you sale and have a passion for it, you can succeed.
My wife created a blog on her yahoo page on home based business opportunities. There are over half a dozen different opportunities from different industries. On and offline businesses. Don't limit yourself to just online, make it broader to where you can do both. The blog also has a lot of information about the truth with scams, BBB and what you need to do to succeed in your home based business regardless if it's online or off line. Yes, if you're looking to start your own business there are lots of honest ones out there. There also a lot of scams so please be wise and research as much as you can.
If you're looking for an on line job I can tell you that as an international home business trainer (that's in my profile) I have yet to hear of one that doesn't want YOU to pay THEM to work for them! Like that makes sense?
As for what the best sites are, I can't say as it really depends on what you want out of an opportunity. |

Hi. There are some genuine work from home opportunities however people will say things are not genuine for a number of reasons. Be sure you know exactly what you can afford and are comfortable doing ,selling talking to people advertising etc and ensure you have sufficient time to invest to be successful.
I work around 4 hrs a day on my business and am on track for multiple six figures this year but it took some hard work to achieve. Anyone "can" do it but many will "choose" not to thinking its too hard I cant do it etc etc.

There are some honest on line businesses on the Internet and at the same time there are a lot of scams out there. I just started my site in January. It's all about homemade gifts. Of course there are real & honest online businesses. There is no "best". What works for some people, won't work for others. It all depends on what you want to do, what your skills are, how much money and time you are willing to invest. You have to carefully research any company you are considering.
