Businesses take time to build. You can't just start up a business then expect money to come pouring in before you start working it. That just doesn't happen. On line business are more difficult to do, because you have to generate traffic to your web site. Without generating traffic to it, you won't have any selling happening. This is the reason why I tell everyone not to solely rely on just an online business. Find something that you can have both on line as well as off line. Something where you can have things being sold on your web site, as well as being able to sale things directly in person by either product or signing people up on services via telephone or the old fashion way of paperwork. If you don't do this, you are really limiting yourself on your income potential as well as creating a lot more work trying to drive people to a web site.
If your unhappy with your business that you have started, and don't want to build it, there are thousands of other home based business opportunities out there for on line as well as off line businesses, or both. A friend of mine created a blog on her 360 yahoo page on different home based business opportunities. There are over half a dozen different ones listed in various different industries. There's also a lot of really good information that you need to read on and learn about before starting up another business. Having a home based business can be incredible for you. As long as you beleive in what your doing and have a good mentor and can be coachable and listen to those who have succeeded in the industry that you choose.
