The best ideas come from what you already enjoy doing. Think about your own skills and how they can be useful to other people. For example, if you enjoy computers, and have some skills in that area, you could make up some fliers offering a service such as helping set up software, fixing specific problems, teaching people to use software or the Internet etc. You can use this idea for anything you have skills with.
The best business idea is the one that you are passionate about and offers a SERVICE. Helping people is a great way to make a living, find something along those lines and you will find customers and have yourself a booming business.
If you have a group with the same passion and varied skills (where you all compliment each other) you can grow your business faster and reach a wider market.

I am 19 and I sell tupperware! I love it! It is a good way to meet new people too! Plus those teens have to move out at some point and they can get lots of stuff for their kitchen at a discount. It is a descent money maker. Not to mention who hasn't heard of tupperware? Everyone needs it...
