All businesses require some sort of sales rather it's a product or a service. Maybe having an online business isn't what you should get involved in. Businesses people have to make money. The only way to make money is selling products or some sort of service. All involves selling something. I don't think this is what you want then. Another thing all businesses cost and have investments to be made, small or large portions. If your not willing or able to invest then having a business isn't for you, you should probably look for a job that doesn't involved YOU actually doing the selling part.
If investing isn't a big deal, theres quite a few different businesses that you can collaborate with and have your own business inside theres and run it from your home. You have the same income opportunity as a traditional business without all the over head expenses. Most home based businesses are under $500 to start up with minimal overhead costs. majority of the things that you use daily in your home are all tax write off's too. Such as your phone, computer, gas, electricty, car expenses etc.

What you are looking for is an employment with no responsibility for the results on your part confusing it with business.

Just watch for the offers you will be receiving from all kind of simpletons who won't even read your question in it's entire length, offering you sales in MLM, leads generating for sales, dropshipping, affiliate programs, you name it. All sales and nothing but. Even doing surveys pays only if you sell others on the same idea so you can get overrides or commission. |

It's not that simple and most everything real offers some sort of product. If there's no product or service offered you may be looking at an illegal pyramid scheme.
Looking at a home based business as a sales type business is what causes most to fail. It's not a sales business. But I'm not here to try to convince you or anyone else of that fact. What I would like to offer is some generic advice on what to look for and what to watch out for.

If you are looking to make money with out a product or service to sell that will be very hard.
If you are looking for something that has limited selling or just no hard selling or Door to Door type stuff that is a bit easier especially with the Internet.
The business I have does have a deigned product but it is also marketed and supported by the company that I do not have to fund. I am sure you have heard of Beachbody. These products really do sell themselves and I also get free referrals of paying customers from the companie's advertising.
So there is some selling but it is quite simple and actually sells itself. My main function is providing support and motivation for the many people that purchase and start a fitness program. It is a great way to earn an income and also keeps me on track with my own health and fitness.

I would recommend it personally. You can always make a profit when you buy in bulk, and because you'er dealing with real companies that fear of being scammed doesn't exist.
You sign up to a good wholesale company and you buy items at wholesale prices (Wiis, iphones...etc). You sell the products on Ebay for a nice little profit. The wholesale company will then simply ship the item to the buyer's address (which is what Dropsipping actually is), You almost never have to handle the product.

Probably the most lucrative option, but also the most time consuming..it's also a unpredictable and hard to control.
You promote a company's products & everytime a sale is made through you, you get a commission (these are usually quite high commissions - often going up to as high as 75%)

contrary to popular belief, you can make money from just about every home based online biz...the reason why ppl blame their failure on the programs is because we don't take the time to invest in our education...the real training we need to succeed...
it's a biz, and you should know that it takes time & money to build it...
