some_kid | Need a good logo design for my designer clothing brand? |
Ive came up with a name for my designer clothing brand but now i need a realy good logo which people could just remeber the brand name by just looking at the logo rather than having the name. What do you think would be a good logo for a designer clothing brand begining with the letter C? (Im not saying what the name is because dont want it to be stolen) Try and explain it to please?

There's a really cool website that you can submit logo jobs on and the graphic designers will all submit their ideas so you get to see a bunch of ideas without paying for a bunch. :) The designers are all prescreened and have to apply to be able to do your logo too, so you can be sure you're getting professional work. The moderators are very helpful too, and will quickly answer any questions. If I remember correctly you just click on the 'start a project' button. I hope this helps you, good luck!

First you should check to see if the name is trademarked. If not, you should register it with the library of congress. As far as logo look, it should be in a style that fits your business image. Think about colors, icons, and the font style. Look at other clothing brands that you like for inspiration. I am a graphic designer and made a logo for my relative's interior design company. We talked a lot about company image and how she wanted to brand something that would be boldy universal to her customers. I ended up using Bed, Bath, and Beyond and Sears logos as an inspiration to start. Good luck! |

hummm...it depends on your clothing ur making. what crowd is it being made for?
how bout a plain old c. but the c should be a bit wide, you know like if you turned the Nike swoop on it's side to resemble a c...only you don't give it a straight edge. i dunno |

how about running a competition with a local secondary school to get all the kids to come up with designs.
firstly kids are so creative and talented with computers etc nowadays, secondly you can get free PR in the school newsletter and local newspapers both announcing the competition in the first place and announcing the winner, perhaps with a photo of you handing the competition winner their prize (which doesn't have to be expensive - how about an MP3 player for a tenner?) and if you get photographed with the winning logo being held up too then it gets it in front of people right from the start. then once they start to see your clothing range they will already be familiar with the logo and name etc. |

Play around with Mircosoft Publisher or another desktop publishing program--you'll be suprised how much you can do. I've designed some logo's this way and everyone I've done them for has been very happy with the results. |
