You definately don't have to pay for paypal. They do take a tiny amount (as in 3p and 2p or something like that) twice out of your account to make sure it works. You need to have taht information to register anyway and I think they return that to your account after you have signed up properly anyway. That bill must be for an item or something because paypal and e-bay are separate services anyway. Paypal can be used on a number of sites and is a safe and secure way to buy things online so the bill must be for something else or a mistake. Either way don't worry about it and sign up because its really useful and safer than using a credit card and its definately free. |

You do not have to pay to have an account either on ebay or Pay Pal so I am not sure what she was charged for.
Pay Pal is quick to set up secure and all that is required is either a CC or a Debit card and an appropriate account from which to take payments or credit monies for sales. |

she must be a seller and needs to pay her fees, YOU DO NOT GET CHARGED for opening a eBay or pay pal account they are all owned by the same company, eBay own pay pal.
you only get charges for listing and selling things on eBay, or receiving funds on pay pal , not for sending cash, you can put funds in your account from your bank account for free, but they is charges to remove funds from pay pal to your bank account

you dont pay for having a paypal acount, but you do get charged a comission when people pay you using it, some ebayers add another 20% to cover pay pal expenses, more people will bid on your items when you have a paypal account because its an easy option, goods can be paid for and despatched the same day |

Hi Ive used PAYPAL to buy goods on Ebay .Its a safe way to buy goods over the internet using your debit or credit card. And if you use PAYPAL and you dont recieve your goods. PAYPAL will refund you the money up to £500-00.Also none of your details are released to the seller. I think what your friend has done is borrowed money from PAYPAL to pay for goods ,simular to how the banks work. But as far as I know its free to use. |

The answer is no, i don't know why or what your friend was charged with, need more info on that.
paypal is free though.
If your friend has been selling on ebay then ebay will take an amount for each listing then another amount after item has sold, check ebay selling guidelines. |

I've used PayPal for ages and only paid for the goods, nothing more. You can also pay with PayPal for other stuff you order on the internet from places like Boots. |

She must have sold something. Paypal, if you notice, when you go to other on line purchasing sites, items can be paid with Paypal. Scroll to the bottom before ordering to see if they accept Paypal. So you don't have to worry, you won't be charged for anything you don't purchase. Paypal is recognised worldwide. I'm just building mine up so I can make some purchases. Go ahead and fill your Paypal account up, you'll be glad you did. |
