I've just started using Bidville.com. It's run by Ubid. Are you interested in buying, selling, or both? Bidville has low fees, but the traffic is not as good as Ebay. |

Unfortunately, there aren't any viable alternatives. The Yahoo! Auctions are pretty dead, and I don't think many people use U-Bid anymore.
Ebay controls the market, and unfortunately that is why they can continue to raise fees and pick and choose which auctions and items they will allow.
I welcome the day when we have a choice, as I will gladly switch over to someone else. But for now, Ebay is the only place where you can get decent prices and find everything you want. |

I am a jewelry dealer from Thailand.I used to sell my items(loose stones) in eBay and not getting good prices. I now have my website created by a tech. The web does pretty good job for me. I do not eed to sell in eBay any more. You might try having your own website.
Another idea is try ubid.com. and if you live in the States or canada try dubli.com. They do not provide international yet. |

Depends what your selling, if you sell ebooks or something crap then ebay, amazon, yahoo and ioffer is the solution, but if the item is prohibited use crakbay.com. I normally sell software on there.
To be honest ebay sucks because of the users that visit it. They simply lick ebay |

I like sell.com. A lot of the stuff is pre-priced but they also have "make offers" and such.

You might have good luck with Craig's list. It's not as organized as yahoo or ebay but sometimes you can really get some bargain basement prices. www.craigslist.com
