I gave Val a thumbs up! I'll also add that I have found the best type of business to start up that has less start up cost. is a home based business. You have the same income opportunity as a traditional business has. In a home based business, you also have less over head to pay for each month. Most everything in your house, is part of your business, which becomes tax write offs. Your telephone, computer, heating, electricity, car etc. Less over head, less bills to pay out then a traditional business which means MORE profit. Like I said, same income opportunity, same tax advantages and way less to start up. There is no need to invest $120,000 in a business. Do it smart. Start a home based business and make the same amount as a traditional business that costs everything you have to start up vs. a home based business that costs $500. Your choice.
Through my business adventures, I've found the best type of home based business is by collaborating with other businesses. Meaning partnering up with a company that is already well established and have them take care of all your billing, employees, workman's comp, customer service, orders, accounts receivables, accounts payables, Inventory etc etc. It's pretty easy to have that done. My husband and I did that over six years ago. Example, we partnered up with a 15 year old world wide company that offers services that people use every day and pay for anyway. Things like Local and long distance telephone services, Internet, video phones, digital phones, VOIP, Satellite TV as well as all the major cellular phone providers. We save people money on services that they already have and can introduce them to services that they don't have. The companies give us a percentage every single month off of people's bills. It's an incredible industry to get involved in and a lot of money to be made. It's also pretty easy to do and we do it out of our home.
Now I'm not sure what your skills are, your hobbies, or what you like to do. So I can show you a few more examples of different types of home based business to take a look at. The amount of money you have has nothing to do with your success. The person with the $3000 dollar business could make millions also. You must have a passion for whatever it is you start. I personally know over 10 people who started businesses with under $500 and are now making over $100,000 per month. I myself have owned and operated companies generating over $10,000 per day and started with one used limousine I bought for $12,000 dollars. Without the passion it does not matter how much you have!!!

I have to agree with Val. It's your passion or drive, not the amount of investment. In my honest opinion anyone advertising they have that much to invest in whatever shouldn't be in business , because they more than likely had it left to them and wont have it for long! |

Look at the fastest growing business and then try to offer a product or service. Try a vendor management service someone else does most of the work. A good example would be Beeline or Pro-Unlimited. |

you seem to be at a very advanced stage to start a business since your capital is of a great value yet very easily spendable if it is to be done for a land based business.
a) You may need to focus on the market that can benefit you in your returns from your investment before you do anything else.
b) Create an online business that would give you the benefit of control globally so that you are not just tied in on a specific geographical area. Some businesses are great and some far superior than others. Security in your investment should always be your first priority.

With this much money you could buy a small franchise.
Review your hobbies and skills to determine what line of work you will be successful at and then look into franchises that are in those fields. A franchise is no guarantee of success however it is a successful business pattern to follow.
The best guarantee of success is Work Hard, Be Patient and Work More. Be dedicated to the business and it will have a chance to pay off for you.

Find a good business consultant (their fee will be well worth the money, especially with the amount you have to invest) to advise you.Whatever business you decide to start, make sure it is something that you will really enjoy because it will consume a good part of your life; preferably something that you have some knowledge and/or experience in. Try and find a mentor to help you with the start up of the business and who is also willing to advise you along the way. This can go a long way in cutting down on frustration and mistakes that you may otherwise make along the way. I started a medical transcription business and have a good friend that has had a medical transcription business for the past 14 years. I received a lot of help from her and couldn't have done it without her. Best of luck to you. |
