Please help me with a business name?

It is a production business. we make music videos of our own, and also documenaries and movies.

The name we wanted was 'Screaming Blue Productions' however it was taken!

We want an out there name thats different then what you hear everyday!

A name that is loud! WE are going to be making films with a voice, with difference.

There is my plea!

I don't have a great name for you right off. I'd have to talk with you to find out a little more about the firm, market, etc.

However

Get a thesaurus, and look up some words that come close to what you are trying to say. Don't be afraid to go a couple levels in and to be a little obtuse.

Secondly, use some slang, or colloquialisms. In Rhode Island, they would say that you were "Wicked Loud", (or "wicked awesome") for example. That's probably not cutting edge, but for some reason they like the term there. It also gets away from mainstream words. Use words that your clients would use. "Gnarly Dude Productions" says something different than "Cool Man Films" or "Jiggy with it records" All of which would leave anyone not in that area shaking their heads. I guess I'd expect some good skateboarding or surfing from the Gnarly Dude Production guys.

Next, start mispelling. There is one way to spell a word correctly. There are a lot of ways to spell them wrongly. Mispelling also makes it more difficult to find another company with the same name. Make sure there are no other firms with a similar name (despite spelling) in your field or you could be charged with trademark dilution. Switch in a K for a hard c, or and R for an L, an x for a ch, a ph for a th, etc.

Also, consider using parts of idioms ("screaming bloody murder" "robin's egg blue"), and mix them a bit bloody murder eggs or bloody robins. Your skills at this would no doubt be better than mine.

The next thing to try is something you did already. Place a loud word (screaming) next to a quieter one (blue) to emphasize the noise. "Resounding silence" has a different meaning than "quiet".

Of course, remember that while a great name is a good thing to have, a great reputation will make the name whatever it will be. You could call yourselves "the beany boppers", but if you make some good videos, that would be synonymous with quality and your genre.

Iconoclast - if you have messages which might make the status quo uneasy. Spell it with a K for effect.

Of course, you could just say it outright "Loud Message Productions" would be mainstream enough for the mainstreamers, and obvious enough for the loud message types. Later, you'd save sign space by calling it LM.

To me, a business name should reflect the attitude and position of those running the business... As I don't know much about you I can't propose a lot...

However, I suggest that whatever name you choose have positive connotations and associations rather than negative ones - it's like business feng shui.

I think it might be important to consider the age range you are trying to reach, I'm over 50 and "screaming" to me is not pleasant. You are making films with a voice, but what kind of voice ??? Screamers are usually ignored, wise, well thought out speech is usually well listened to, here are some synomyms for scream: Synonyms: cry, high-pitched sound, holler*, howl*, screech, shriek, wail, yell, yelp .............................
Antonyms: whisper <<<< when you are trying to get a cause across, depending on the audience, you need to use a word that they "understand" and I just know screaming would send a lot of people away if you look at the synonyms .....I'm trying to find words for getting your passion across without "screaming: how about awaken, cry out, challenge, think of other words that especially politicians use to get your attention without sounding "garrish". Try on online thesaurus, I use them all the time. If you are set on scream then you could change it to Screamer's
