The best, legitimate home-based businesses almost always still involve making and/or selling something. Even if you merely find good bargains then sell them on e-bay, you'd have to 'sell' them and establish a good reputation. Precisely what you can do would depend on what your skills/interests are and what need is not adequately met in your area or in the electronic community you wish to cater to.
Where those points intersect is where a rewarding and fruitful enterprise is going to last.
I don't know your skills/interests so I can't be more specific but the following are possible:
1. Hunt for bargains and sell them (on e-bay or otherwise);
2. Food preparation and/or catering;
3. Supply and delivery of specialty items (like fresh-cut flowers or fish);
4. Work-at-home encoding/transcription;
5. Daycare and/or baby-sitting services;
6. Multi-level marketing (note: be sure you have products and that those products are sellable), and;
7. Vending Machine operation.
These are some of the opportunities. Beware of spectacular claims (if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is) and illegitimate operators, however. |

Have you looked at turnkey web sites yet? Do a search on eBay and you'll see the different business models. Once you decide and buy one...then you'll set it up...and market it. My wife and I learned quite a lot about starting a business on mycreditadvise.com it really helped us.
