I found the same thing Vidya.....the only thing that's out there that has a promising future is the on line businesses that you can get into for very little.
At one point I was looking for an on-line work from home job but like you I found that everything is a scam so I shifted my thinking and went with something where I could be my own boss.

There are couple of options if you want to work from home; such as starting your own ebay business, join a network marketing company, or create a website or blog and put ads on there....etc.
I am doing all of these above and I am making 2 to 3 thousands a month.
If you want to join a work-from-home network marketing company you need to first do some research. What is the size of this company, what is their product, and how can you get paid...etc.
There are some big network marketing company like USANA and Manntech that is public traded company you can consider, they usually not a scam.
