Finding something that you feel rather passionate about is always a good place to begin. You at least want to enjoy what you do and have an interest in it at the same time.
Read on and you will understand what I mean by this.
I remember that was the first piece of advice I received when I started my own online business. I really love our planet and had a real interest in environmental concepts. I began writing about synthetic chemicals and how detrimental they can be to children and the environment.
The more I researched the more passionate I became and the more I enjoyed my role of creating a greater awareness regarding product safety.
I enjoy writing and exposing greed and I enjoy helping other people. Now I get to combine the whole lot of those things by referring people to safer, eco friendly products. I also earn an income by teaching others how to do the same thing. So I get paid for doing what I really enjoy doing. That is what makes the difference.
At one point I had the opportunity to earn by promoting walking boots...Well how passionate could I be about shoe laces, boot soles and leather uppers. Get my point?
So first work out what really takes your interest and then search for ways to build your business around that. Then you will enjoy the ride and enjoy the role you play.
