I think you are a very pretty girl.. modelling isn't all looks though. You have to have a very thick skin people try to knock your confidence a lot and you are used almost like manakins by very one track minded people who are so task orientated they rarely have time to consider your feelings.
What I am trying to say you seem like a very pretty and nice young girl are you sure you want to get into that world? Maybe you can talk to some experienced models and get some advice on what its really like.. |

I agree with momma bear, you have to have the height,figure and the 'look' to be a model, i don't think you have any of those, and if you cant take the criticism your going to get on here then modeling definitely isn't for you. Saying that though your not ugly, but do something else i think your being ripped off |

You have a great bone structure so i think possibly yes you could from that one pic. But remember in the fashion world different looks are in fashion with different types of models- such as Eastern European models are hot rights now, before people were going mad over Brazilian girls. Its a very shallow and competitive world. But i would think that if you have to pay alot of money for an agency it is wrong. Most of the top agencies take girls on and pay for their portfolio's as they know those girls will make them alot of money anyway. Be careful pleeeeease!!!
I would investigate the agency you are with, research it- ask current models with them how they are getting on so you wont get ripped off. You are very pretty so i hope you the best. |

You are very pretty so I think you have a good shot. I don't think you have a really unique look, which seems to be something agencies are looking for sometimes, but not always - sometimes they just want a pretty girl, which you've got. Make sure to work on your walk too! I don't think that this agency sounds like a scam...but if you don't start getting any paid modeling jobs from it, I would look elsewhere. Good luck and keep working on pursuing your dream (but make sure to continue focusing on your school work as well!) |

you're a singaporean right? you can be a part-time model or talent with your height. and average girl next door looks can make it as a part-time model/talent here.
but if you're thinking of it as a career, the answer is no.
and you'll sometimes have to be skimpily clad, so you have to be at least 18 to take on those jobs.
with some luck and big boobs, you might even make it to the cover of the local FHM. |

You're inviting yourself to criticism by posting this question. Although, if you do enter the modelling industry, you will be receiving a lot of that anyway, I imagine.
I think you look fine, but always have something to fall back onto. I have no experience in this area, but don't put all your eggs in one basket, where something s ultimately going to be subjective, is what I'm getting at. |
