I ordered some speakers over eBay, they look excellent on eBay's picture, but I received them all crushed and in horrible condition. Old damages are visible, there are many new ones too. Can I sue him somewhere and get my money back, he does not agree on any deal. Please help |

Same thing happened to me but with a different product. Not speakers. He sent me nothing that was advertised in the description. I called the cops in the town that he lives and he agreed for me to send back the items. I did and demanded a refund. Now he is claiming poverty and has given me two miniscule checks. He is sending it back but at a very slow rate. I don't care as its the principle of the thing. As long as he doesn't have my money anymore.
To answer your question, keep nagging him and threaten to call the cops and threaten a lawsuit. Hopefully he gives in and things work out for you. The cops, unfortunately, can not do anything because you bought something and he sent an item to you. It sucks but its word against word. Good luck!! |

you have to report it to ebay then they will try and get your money back hopefully if you paid with paypal report it to paypal also now im pretty sure you'll get your money back there i have before... |

Hopefuly you used PayPal. Take pictures and report them to E-Bay. Also, you can provide negative feedback. In the future, check a sellers feedback before bidding on something. If there are too many negatives or too few sales, steer clear. |

did u have package insured? you maybe able to recover some of the purchase price by filing a claim with the carrier.providing the damage ( being crushed happened in shipping)It still doesnt get the seller off the hook but at least you can recoup some of your loss. |

If you paid thru paypal you can use paypal disputes to get your money back but act quickly |

Contact eBay's Buyer Protection. They will advise you of your rights. Also make sure you save all correspondence from the seller--they will want to see the (virtual) paper trail.
If you paid via PayPal, you also have protection under their agreement. Contact them as well. Other payer services also have protection agreements, and if you paid by credit card, your credit card company may be able to help you.
Do NOT wait to file any of this. If you wait more than a certain time period, you may lose some of your rights. It is possible to sue someone over an eBay transaction, but unless you and the seller happen to be in the same juridiction, it will be much, much simpler to proceed through the online services than to try and take it to civil court. |

This isn't the first time that this has happened many people have this problem. They order the item that they want because it looks like its in good condition compared to the others but it then turns out that the picture was taken off of the Internet or when the owner first bought the product. My advice is you ring up eBay and tell the basically you've been ripped off and that you want your money back. good luck with your crisis i hope my advice has helped! |

Report it to Ebay - that is what they are paid for.
It is unlikely you can sue someone for the cost of speakers - it would be cost prohibitive.
Also - how did you pay for them? If you are smart, you used a credit card and can challenge the charge. |
