A guy won my car for spares and repairs for £170, when he turned up he said he was an MOT guy and the car is worth £60, I didnt sell. as he won it for £170 and the bidder under him bidded £165
should I of sold or should I give it to the next bidder, when he might be right and say its only worth £60 |

give it to the next highest bidder, i would prefer £165 over £60....it was his choice to bid and if he doesnt want it at the price he offered then forget it.
or you can report the fact he is basically - a "tyre kicker" |

Report him - if he won it for £170 he has to pay £170 he entered into a contract with you and he has broken it - the price he thinks the car is worth is irrelevent |

Sell it to the next guy. There is a way on ebay where you can relist an item if the first buyer pulls out for any reason. |

he is trying it on with you , he has entered into a contract and has to pay, you will have to pay eBay's fees on the full amount so you must get the full amount.also you must report him what ever happens. if he wont pay let ebay know and offer it to the next bidder ,but he is not legally bound ot accept it. |

If the highest bidder bid 170, then that's what he's obligated to pay for it, no matter how much he thinks it's worth. If it weren't worth 170, he wouldn't have bid that much. You have to sell it to the winning bidder. If he doesn't pay, mind you, then you're entitled to "second chance offer" the next highest bidder. |
