Retired and Working from home. How? U.S. Texas?

My mother is wanting to retire from her job but will still need to make some extra money on the side once she does. She has a computer and is an excellent typist (80 wpm) and can 10 key.

I have looked into different things only to find they are scams. Do you know of one that is not and is proven?

I will do my homework on any answers. I greatly appreciate any help!

Hey Irishtxn,

Airlines are paying people to do customer service from home offices. My sis-in-law works for United from home.

Your mom could propose to the company that she works for now that she take retirement and then give her a part-time home office job for the same company doing similar work at a part-time salary. The benifits are that she would keep her current benifits, not have to learn a new system. The company in-turn would continue to benifit from her years of expierence and stay on thier statistics as a company who employs senior citizens.

Working from home does not have to be an entrepenurial venture. She could stay doing what she knows in a more relaxed invironment.
