The shirt should read, "I have STDs".
That should do it. |

I'd put a disgusting image of a decaying pen-is. That will freak kids out or a 15 year old teen with a prego belly. "THIS COULD BE YOU OR YOUR GIRLFRIEND!" |

How about this to print on your Safe Sex T-Shirt
"Youth is wasted on the young. Sex can only make you older"
I also recommend you have it printed in http://www.ezcustomizedclothing.com |

Just make a plain shirt that says "Practice Safe Sex" in bold letters. |

honest to god, people only buy stuff like that if a celbrity designs it, try to contact celebrities, say its for a good cause.
recently a magazine in britain gave away free condom tins designed by famous musicians.
so even when a celebrity designs it, often it is free.
it wouldnt make any money.
saying that, i am currently wearing a t shirt that says "dont drink and drive" and it is one of my favourite t shirts.
or you should totally go with the dj tim westwood's phrase "strap it up before you slap it up", funniest thing i have heard in a while! |

You need a target audience for this type of thing.
For the average high school/college crowd, slogans like: WRAP IT UP, I GOT IT COVERED....stuff that insinuates putting on condoms.
For the bible thumping/born again drones who preach an abstinence only type deal, childish sayings about burning in hell & genitals being "dirty" will work. |

um, how about no sex at all,
but you are right, safe the better.
teens need to know how to protect themselves and how to stay strong and healthy!
power to you! |

it wouldnt really work..
1. anything with the words sex on it will usually be banned from wearing in school
2. Safe Sex, condoms, birthcontrol, are not the teachings of "sex education " in schools, which primary focus on absitence only
3. No parents would buy them for their teens, becaue they dont want to acknowledge that they are having sex..
4. Unless its very fashionable, most teenagers wouldnt wear them anyway.. |

Try coming up with a proposal that addresses the following:
- What are your possible sources of funding? Condom companies? Government grants? Any safe-sex organizations? Corporations sometimes have a "community" section on their websites where they write about their social commitment and may offer an opportunity to contact them that way.
- What is the goal? Who are you targeting? Increasing awareness among teens about safe sex with apparel, yes, but you should think things through carefully. What is the scope of your project? (Your city? Your state/region? How many teens? What is the timeline?) What's in it for your sponsor (civic benefit/ product or company promotion?) Your value proposition needs to be very clear.
-What is the distribution plan? (How will you get these t-shirts out?) Are you coordinating with a school or youth organization? You need to know you have a viable route before getting funding. How much will distribution cost? (i.e. shipping to the appropriate locations)
-What is the design? Have several ready. Catchy phrases with implied meaning seem to do well (prophylactics before passion?), and do some market research, i.e. show some of your target teens your designs and ask whether they would wear it. If you are looking for a corporate sponsor, you might want to include their logo.
-What is the printing plan? There are plenty of companies on the internet, or you can find someone local. Get an estimate for the cost of shirts, printing, and shipping.
-Put all the aspects of your proposal together into a concise document and send it to all the sponsors you have considered. If it is well thought out, feasible, and has clear value, you may very well realize your goal. |

Playboy for a sponsor, and you should have a shirt that says, "Give the gift that won't get her pregnant." or something like that. |
