You would need a liquor vending license to do it, so it's not going to be worth it. |

There also might be a law about selling foods that are already prepared without proper handleing and guidlines. The health department has codes about anything ready to eat like that.
I also don't know about selling alchohol without a license.that could get you a BIGGGG fine ..check with the city, codes, health dept, whichever dept handles that stuff, not the manager. |

I think you need a license to sell alcohol (unless its below 2%)
Perhaps you could sell an entrance ticket that includes free wine. |

in the UK you would need a temp licence from your local council and a licence holder to be there ...this needs to be applied for and approved around 2 weeks before event ...Plus all the right notices etc... |

Sweet Cider, maybe, wine no. You would probably be in violation of your local liquor laws. |

if its bottled and made by you, you need a health and safty permit for wherever you make it and also to ensure you have a permit to sell food and drinks and alcohol. |

Is the market inside or outside?
If it's inside, you MAY find that the venue is licenced for the serving of alcoholic beverages. If not, you'll need a licence.
Just because SOME people get away with it, doesn't mean that you might not get the policeman nearing the end of his shift who'd love a couple of hours overtime processing your case.
What you could serve is "mulled smoothies"... take lots of fruit juice, warm up, add a few herbs and spices, and sell as the Driving-friendly, Healthy, Christmas option. Worst case is that Health and Safety get a bit arsey, but that's a lot better than the licencing authorities :-) |
