I would say first of all know your market.
As a British guy living in Spain I know that there are already a significant number of Businesses already offering that service, some doing ok , some not. These include a chain called Quicksave, a Franchise called Thomas Greens, The Iceland Supermarket Chain, Cornish Pride, Spainsbury's and various smaller local businesses. Most major towns up and down the costa's have at least one of these types of shop.
Add that to the fact that there are also a number of businesses offering to deliver goods from supermarkets like Asda and Tesco from the UK direct to your home in Spain for about 10 Euros a Box, and I'm sure you can appreciate that it may not be the moneyspinner you first thought.
If you are fortunate in being able to get a prominent and cheap location in an area with a lot of expats, but little Competition then you may be lucky in being able to make a go of things.
