If they failed to respond to your e-mails then yes you are well within your rights to leave negative feedback. |

why is it not suitable?
if it is what the item listed then it is not the sellers fault it is yours for not reading the listing properly.
if you have changed you mine then i dont think its right to leave bad feedback, But if the item is not as described or faulty then yes |

If the goods are not as described the seller is obliged to refund you. If they do not respond to your messages by all means leave negative feedback and if you have paid via Paypal raise a complaint via them as well. |

but then can't the seller leave negative feedback on the buyer in revenge? |

Send an email to Ebay to ask the seller on your behalf. If they still refuse to respond, leave the negative feedback. They've had plenty chances to respond, and don't deserve your custom. |

Its probably a bit early to neg them
You can get their contact details and call them by phone (this usually gets results)
Leave your fb when you have exhausted all other possibilities.
Then neg if necessary. |

I would contact e-bay and get them to take it up, if you get no response after that the YES leave negative feedback its essential!! |

You should be able to follow some procedures to get their contact number. Read up on the help section on EBAY. Other than that negative feedback may be the only way. |

Hi
I am a ebay seller and if you have tried to contact them and they are ignoring your emails you have to leave neg feedback and if this person contests the neg feedback you have to say you tried to contact him but he was not responding. Try sending another couple of emails and if he /she does not respond leave neg feedback. |

Leaving a negative feedback is probably understandable because you're not getting any response from the seller. However, be prepared to get negative feedback in return.
Also, you say that the item is unsuitable, but the question to ask yourself is: "is it as described in the auction listing?" If the answer is yes, then just walk away and leave no feedback at all.
I know the negative feedback system can be valuable if a person has had a truly awful experience but I think that too many newbies abuse it. I've never given or received negative feedback (and I have over 250 feedbacks). Just my 2 cents. |

i'd do it, however, make sure u are in line with their return policy, i hate when people get upset even after my policy was clearly stated, plus they might retaliate and leave you negative! |

If they don't respond pull the sellers contact information and try to call them. Did you pay by paypal? You may be able to file for Item not as described and get your money that way. Try calling the seller first though. |

ABSOLUTELY....this ensures the idiot doesnt do it again. People read those and look for the issues before they buy from a seller. |
