I started my own business at christmas it only cost me a small amount to get it off the ground its a cleaning business ( domestic) , I bought the equiptment I would need ,made up some cards on the computer and posted them in homes , offices also a few property developers , it took time but the work started to dribble in , mostly at first from people I already knew , then a mate who was a electrician got some work from a Property developer , he gave him my card , he got me do clean some of his developments , now I have quite a few domestic jobs too, But still not enough to keep me busy every week all week , but I know it will come one day , my investment was £200 not a vast amount , but I bring in £500 pr month at the moment , so I'm getting there, so if anybody needs a cleaner in the Bexley area , I'm your girl . Anyway if you want it to happen only you can make it happen , I wish I had done it years ago instead of working for some one else , what a waste of time . |

Starting a business is a very serious thing. First you need money(working capital) to start off. You will have rent, inventory, packaging, utility fees, etc.. And payroll if you hire anyone. It takes a very motivated and determined person to run a successful business. You must have the knowledge of the market you are entering. Ex, if you open a bakeshop, how big is the need for it, how many others are in your area. Who is your target market, and the list goes on and on.
If this is something you have your heart set on doing I would start out with taking some classes on small business and get a feel for it to see if it is something you really want and get educated on it.
To start a business on paper is very easy, it is the rest that is difficult. You can go to your accountany or a website called Bizfillings.com to get a business license.
Owning your own business has a lot of rewards and can be very fun, but make sure you really think it out before you are stuck in a situation.

Working from home can be both rewarding and beneficial. But you need find the right business for you.
One option is network marketing or internet business, which can be very lucrative, but do your research, as there are a lot of scams out there. Find yourself a good business opportunity and work at it. You will reap the rewards.
Once you have found your ideal opportunity, you need to build your business. But how are you going to do that. There are tried and tested ways to do this, but not many people in Network marketing know how to do this correctly.
Do it wrong, you will make little or no money. Do it correctly and you will do well and have more time to spend with your family.
You need to attract customers to you, rather than you chasing customers. and this is another technique that can easily be mastered if taught the right way.
I am currently working through a training tutorial that has already allowed me to capture 38 leads in 30 days and I`m only half way through the tutorial.
So, do your reasearch, learn your business properly (not the way your upline tell you) and you will succeed...

you do not have any money and you dont seem to be a teenager anymore and to cap it all you are also unemployed.
Decide what business you would you would like to run. Then get yourself a job as a trainee into that business and build your knowledge and experience of that business. See how you feel about that business after a few months into it. If you still have hots for it then carry on until you know you are ready to run that type of business yourself. Meanwhile get to know a good accountant. Also while working start saving money regularly in a bank account. You will need help of bank to start a business.

If you are collecting unemployment, you had better be very careful about advertising a business that produces income. You would probably be better off getting a job in a bakery and keep your specialty products to yourself for the time being. You will make money and learn the business. Once you have enough capital you can go out on your own but there's too much risk in a newly formed business for you to invest the money you don't have into it. Get to the library to start reading about business start ups, advertising on a shoe string, accounting, and all of the areas of business. Make sure it's what you want to do. You can even start your own thing part time but get some income rolling in and start to save a portion of it right off the top for your business fund. Once you have a few thousand bucks you can approach a bank or SBA for a business loan but you wont qualify for a loan with zero income. I believe you have the drive for your own business but you lack the resources. Don't wait for your ship to come in ... swim out to meet it. Your next stop should be your local library and then perhaps a COSE or SBA counselor to help guide your path to success. Don't let the dream die but put it on hold for better timing. |
