Yahoo has great web hosting. It's like $12 a month and you have the ability to make it look very professional, even for a beginner. If I could do it anyone can and I think mine looks great, have had lots of compliments on it. |

Nothing worth having is FREE. My inclination is, if you want a good website, you need a good designer. Consumers are smart. They look for quality. If your website is free, or CHEAP, my guess is....it'll look the same. I have the name of an excellent designer who does web hosting. But he's not cheap. It depends on what you consider cheap.
First rule of success is
"It takes money to make money"
I think $20 a month for hosting is cheap, you might consider that outlandish. But there are hosting solutions that cost $50 a month.
