My son is thirteen. He mows lawns to make money, and he can make alot of it in a pretty short amount of time. Definately get permission from a parent or guardian first though. |

I suggest you to wash dishes at any restaurant for $4.15 per hour and get paid with cash at the end of the day. |

My daughter needs $190 for camp and she has already made $80. She supervised a slumber party for a mom (she is 16, the party was for 9 yr olds) and she helped another family clean out the garage. She is going tomorrow to mow, pull weeds and water at another house and next week to yet another to clean windows for an elderly lady. So, I know you can do it! Best wishes =) |

You don't say how long you've got. Several years ago, a 14 year old boy was on TV as a young entrepreneur for first, starting a lawn mowing service...alone. He made sure he was on time, did his work well, and was polite. Word got out. He got so busy, he hired his younger brothers, then other kids. He is now rich. |

My brother picked up trash for business owners. He was like 10 or 11 back then. He also recycled cans & bottles. |

mow lawns, pitch out around the neighborhood (odd jobs), ask around local rest. and food chains, they might just need a hand for a few hours that are busiest and may let you work a few hours to earn some income. |

Wow the possibilities are endless.
Subway and UPS are just two examples of business that were started by kids. Basically, look around you and look for needs that you can satisfy. Also think about what you find enjoyable. Me, I am service oriented, so I look for things I can do for people. Serving people makes me happy.
One girl that I heard of makes snicker doodles for horses. The only thing that is hindering you is the limit of your imagination. So look around you and find an area where you can supply a need. Don't create one, just look for where there is a need then go for it.
I wish you the best of luck. |

You can babysit if you are good with children. If you are crafty you can make things and sell them. Or if you have things you no longer use or need have a yard sale. Other than that the options are limited as far as jobs. Maybe you can do chores for the neighbors or any of your friends that have allowance could pay you to do their chores, like dishes, laundry, etc. Another idea is take about $5-10 and go to a bulk store and get candy and sell it for a profit. Good luck getting money for your trip. |

Do odd chores around the house see if parents will give you money for that, paper route, mow lawns and you can work at a family owned place. That's it. 300 for a 13 yr. old is tough. |
