The key is to find something that you are passionate about. Something that you really enjoy doing and sharing with other people. You'd be amazed at what kind of traffic a really well put-together information site can generate.
People are on the web to find solutions and, if you can provide them the answers to their questions and problems, they will truly see you as an expert in your field, learn to trust what you say, and will be there in an "open-to-buy" mindset.
I created my Romantic Oregon Coast Vacations site to share my love of the Oregon Coast. Thusly, I've found others who are present lovers of have yet to be. They want to find out more and I love giving them the information they need. I let them in on why and how I do it on my About Me page and then try to share the passion with them, hoping they will get "the fever" to break free from their tedious 9-to-5. With motivation and some work, anyone can enjoy their work online and make a pretty nice living from it.
As long as you are producing a site on a subject that you love, you're going to have great success with it. Your passion will come through. Do some real brainstorming and find what you really enjoy. Then figure out how you can turn that into an online business and how you could monetize that. Affiliate programs, drop shipping, advertising, referal fees. You're only limited by your creativity.

Ok, you have thought long enough about it. Make a decision right now to start your own business. If you really made the decision to start, then here are a few things you must do.
Educate yourself on the subject, read and read some more. Next start building your business. It won't be perfect at the start but as you learn, you will get better.
You have to dedicate yourself to investing the time it takes to make it successful. It will take work.
Some of the easier ways to start is affiliate marketing, and google adsence. You can see results with these fairly quickly. Think like a business owner and your on your way. |

What I learned from my past ventures and so I recommend to those who have the entrepreneurial spirit:
1. Have the desire to mutually uplift the financial status of others by way of offering your products.
2. Offer products that you san support after-sales, besides having a high demand ratings.
3. Start the business with the lowest capital as possible but projecting high growth in the future.
4. Surround yourself with people who can help your business intellectually and morally (no, not necessarily financially).
5. If possible affiliate yourself with others who are already successful in your line of business (what I call a "cooperative competition").
