i am extra cautious with her. I dont go in her proximity even when she asks for help and maintain physical distance. (she noticed this distance and my feelings both). I just want to be close friend enough so that i can develop relationship when she is not working for me/ or she herself starts it while on job. I will assist her for new job before even if she feels ok at my company coz others will look this as bad thing. |

Sorry, it is inappropriate to try to develop a personal relationship with an employee. If, IF, she responds in kind, you could get lucky and find a wife. If she doesn't respond positively, you are setting yourself up for a potential sexual harrassment suit.
Think about it. If the roles were reversed, wouldn't you feel a little trapped if it became apparent that your boss were interested in you? You would have to ask yourself a million questions--if I don't want to go out with him or her, will it affect my job? If I do like him or her, but then it turn sours, will it affect my job? How could I come to work every day if a "friendship" did go bad? How will this affect my relationship (and his,) with the other employees? ("She/he doesn't have to worry about coming in late...")
The answer is just don't go there. |

BAD IDEA. My boss who I didn't know was hitting on me, asked me out for drinks and I thought he was just being friendly. BOY was I pissed when I found out he had other ideas. This is improper and you should not Move forward with your plan. This is right out of sexual harrasment 101. |
