I'm 15, and would like to make some extra money. As no one is going to employ me as there are loads of 16 year olds that have just left school that can work tons more hours than me. Does anyone know any money maiking things I can do? My idea was selling home-printed t-shirts on the ebay, but I don't think that would make much profit. So any ideas would be welcome :)

You could go round all the shops and hotels etc. to see if they have any openings, the e-bay thing could work its worth trying and you could sell any old things you don't need anymore. oh yea you could like go round houses and see if they need their windows washed or their grass cut or w/e. |

Babysitting. It sounds outdated but no matter what, every summer there's kids out of school while their parents have to work. Leaving kids alone is a burden to the parents, and daycare can be expensive. By babysitting you alleviate the burden to parents while making some money. Win win. |

the t-shirt idea is a brilliant one, i done it myself last year home made ones aswell and i made alot of money.
dont sell em on ebay, go to primark or somewhere cheap and get loads of blank t-shirts all different colours and sizes and some sleevless and some sleeved, girls and guys, make a slogan a good one, something summer like, and alittle bit daring, then have u got a beach near u?? thats the best place to sell em, but you will have to be quick, as some councils frown on selling without a license, get a bunch of ur friends together to help but only trust worthy friends, and not towny looking friends.
you need to be looking smart, no one will wanna buy off people dressed in hoodies and stuff, make them wear the t-shirts, to show off the slogans abit.
do it u can make alot of money, if u sell em right. |

When you work out what you want money for, then try making that out of nothing (or what you have already got).
That is making real money.
Adding value to a product someone else produces makes you reliant on the supply chain. Do it yourself, and you will learn more about life than you will if you take a job working for money! |

i don't thinking home-printed tshirts will be popular at all. I'm not sure selling stuff is an effective way cos ur still kinda young. You should do jobs like walking dogs, mowing lawn, gardening for your friends, neighbours and yeah. But I'm sure there is somewhere that will employ you. I'm 14 and I have a job and this is definetely the most effective way to earn money. Good Luck! |
