I bought an imac g5 for 320pound,the seller has a feedback of 625 at 99.7 with only 1 neutral and the rest it all positive.I payed via bank transfer and emailed him yesterday he told me he will check if he got the payment and email me back and email me when he arranged the courior but he has'nt contacted me what can i do thanks. |

In the future always use paypal, e bay recommends that we never use bank transfer to pay for items. A lot of E bay retailers are part timers and he probably is waiting to check for payment then when he gets a chance he'll send it. |

Never transfer using your ban acct. Use paypal.. Try seeing if your bank will dispute it. |

As you probably know, eBay's "Buyer Protection" scheme only applies to PayPal payments, so if you are being scammed, eBay won't be able to help you much. You should remember that bank transfers can take a couple of days to process, though - they won't appear instantly in the other person's bank account, particularly if you don't use the same bank.
If it turns out that the seller IS trying to scam you, your best option is to report it to the police. |

If this was a transfer through PayPal then you should be okay because PayPal is secure so if you don't receive your item or if the seller did in fact scam you, you will still be able to get your money back. But this was only yesterday, maybe your payment hasn't gone though yet so he just hasn't emailed to say otherwise. I am going though something similar with a seller on Ebay although it's with the way they shipped an item and it's taking four times as long although I paid for 3-day shipping and he's a poor communicator. Hang in there and if you don't get a response definitely contact Ebay and/or PayPal and get this seller off of there and try to get your money back. |

I would wait a few days for him and I would get all his information I can in the meanwhile.
You can report him to E-Bay. There are countless number of cases like yours. Therefore they have a scamming team in E-bay so that you can contact them and they will take the necessary steps for you, to getting back your money.

Be patient for now. If he was really in it to scam you, he would have a terrible feedback! If it's at least 3 more days, I would say, send him another email. Tell him that if you don't receive a reply from him, or the product, within the next 2-3 days, that you will be reporting him to eBay. Also, check and make sure that your funds were really there. Confirm with the bank (or paypal, whoever you sent the money with) that the funds were indeed there to pay him, and that it was sent without any problems. Sometimes the banks make mistakes.
If all else fails, give him poor feedback, and report him to eBay.
