I always find a good photo does wonders, make sure there is no shading of light. Also a good description, what size, tight or loose.
I wouldn't normally put buy it now now, some ppl ask for it, but if you have a price in your head what you want, you are mostly guaranteed to get more than you wanted lol, so sometimes buy it now doesn't get you thr best amount, ya know..? |

its all to do with what you put in the title , people search on specific words - words like "bargain" "wow" "loverly" "stunning" etc do not get searched for so don't waste the space putting them in title - leave them for the description. makers names , brand names , age (art deco etc) are all great things to put in a title.
do not put the word "like" in the title you will end up getting your listing removed.
start as low as you dare and try and keep the postage down - weigh your item and visit the royal mail web site for postage prices - do not try and make money on the postage , you will make it up on the bidding.
another tip for making your listing stand out is to type the whole of the title in capital letters - only do this with the title tho , type your description in normal case.

Use multiple excellent quality photos and tell the honest truth about your item that you're selling, if not it will surely come back to bite you in the behind on your feedback.
They have a new feedback system now that really sucks as the seller no longer gets to voice any opinion on any transaction except good or not to leave one at all. This new system really sucks also.
I have contacted them on that as well as millions of other sells but they don't seem to care what the sellers think about anything at the moment as they think it's good but time will tell.
You'll find that they're looking for most anything on ebay.

I wouldn't worry about a BIN price and I don't think you can do what you suggest anyway-once you have bids, you are severely limited as to what you can change in a listing.
What I have found gets people interested is watching my own items and asking a couple of friends to watch them too.
Putting a skype chat/call option is handy for people to ask you questions.

Be as honest & detailed as you can be with your description. Try to take as clear a picture of the item(s) you are selling. Always have a good refund policy so that potential buyers know they can trust you. Communicate as often as possible as missing the answer to a question could lose you a good sale. Don't over charge on postage as buyers get to know this & will avoid paying cheating postage costs. Only put a buy it now on if you have had a lot of requests for one,(sellers normally escalate the price for a buy it now so if you put this up you will normally be offered less for the item you are selling, unless of course it really is a great bargain).I could go on & on. If you have a couple of bids/watchers,they could be waiting for the last couple of minutes to bid. Add buy it now only if you think you are likely to achieve it IE: your selling item and willing to accept far lower than the value,or what anyone else is asking. I only use buy it now if a buyer askes me for it! As for the numpty that said dont send the package,its prats like that who spoil it for the rest of us! |

A good idea is to write the items in capital letters so it stands out, and in bold writing. Andadd a load of symbols e.g. @@@!!!!I AM LEGEND BLU-RAY!!!!@@@ etc. |
